I'm new to this game but I feel the entry could do with a more logical layout e.g. an introductory section, followed by history, then geology, reserves and resources, then the mine and its methods and finally a section on any other aspect of interest. Or does this sound too much like a technical report. I've got lots more information than is in the entry at the moment but I don't want to step on any toes. Any comments????? Translation

Tazmaniacs, the Spanish original of the remark you are quoting is "Chile: Trabajadores de la mina de cobre Escondida demandan a la empresa" which means that the workers are making demands of the company. They are not "demanding the company" which I would say means that they are demanding ownership of the company and I can find no reference to this in anywhere. Ownership

I am not sure that you are right on the question of ownership. I seem to remember that JECO and the IFC were in La Escondida before Billiton arrived. Might be worth checking Egoli (talk) 11:24, 22 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
