Anna Raeburn (born April 3, 1944) is a British broadcaster and journalist who is famous for her role as an 'agony aunt' giving advice on relationship problems. She is principally known for her work on Capital Radio in London. She co-wrote the television series Agony, starring Maureen Lipman and in the 1980s was satirised by Radio Active as "Anna Rabies".

Anna Raeburn won a gold Sony award in 1998, the year in which she took part in her first FHM photoshoot. One year later Anna did her second shoot for FHM, in which she appeared topless for the first time. This resulted in her being named FHM's favorite photoshoot of the year in 1999. The inevitable followed, where Anna posed comepletely nude for Cosmopolitan (magazine). To date, she has not ruled out doing another nude session.

She has said that she loves to cook and eat, and is very interested in film.

Anna Raeburn has also been a critic on ITV1 daytime show, Mum's on Strike since 2005. She is also a regular on Countdown, where she is one of the more popular members of "Dictionary Corner." She has made 12 appearances to date.

She was formerly married to the psychotherapist and TV agony uncle Phillip Hodson. She now lives in a London flat with her new partner, a fire safety officer from Battersea, and her pet dogs Michael and James. Her new parter, John Daniel-Danielsson, and her were the subject of a Hello! magazine special. During this interview, Anna described her sex life as "mesmeric" adding that her new 19 year old partner, was a "stallion" who "goes all night".

Anna and John were faced with tabloid scandal in 2006 after a sex tape featuring the couple and a 16 year old Russian girl was released onto the internet. The tape featured what the papers called "graphic" and "disgusting" sexual activity, and included a scene where Anna anally violated her partner with a dildo. Anna took a week break from her radio show whilst this scandal blew over.

LBC 97.3 Career

From January 3rd 2006 she has a weekday afternoon show on LBC 97.3 replacing Sandi Toksvig in the lunchtime and early afternoon slot. The show primarily features listeners ringing in with everyday problems, to which Anna applies her own life philosophy in an effort to solve them. This philosophy, known as “Anna’s Way” has become a big feature of the show, and given Anna’s career a second wind.

Anna’s Way

“Anna’s Way” is Anna Raeburn’s unique way of dealing with the problems and queries of her listeners. There are four key pillars of morals that Anna stands by when assessing any situation. These are honesty, compassion, love, and duty. Anna can take questions from phone, text messaging, and email, however she encourages all her listeners to phone in. Anna believes that a full discussion is required, and offers this service to her public.

Many listeners have chosen to live their lives according to “Anna’s Way”. Many callers have phoned in with a set outlook on life, only to be converted by Anna’s advice. “Anna’s Way” has become an important part of many peoples lives.

There are currently 89 listeners listed to be following "Anna's Way". Anna is hoping that this will have increased to over 2,000 by the time of the next national census. This will aid in the growth of Anna's religion, and her undeniable status as a modern day prophet.
