User talk:NoOtherClub97
When you warned NoOtherClub97 User talk:NoOtherClub97 (level two and three it appears) using Huggle, do you recall which template you applied? The template seems to be conflating disruptive editing and vandalism. It shouldn't (see Wikipedia:Disruptive editing). I want to see if I can get that template fixed. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:51, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Walter Görlitz: Hello, the template is apparently the Huggle-customized {{uw-vandalism2}}. There are a few things I have considered before reverting.
- User changing the image to a non-existent one
- Changing name to something different from the article's title
- Changing owner to Sporting Kansas City which is an opponent of New York Red Bulls
- User has been warned for non-constructive editing before doing the same thing again
- Based on these editing behaviors, I was considering the edit as vandalism, however it is also likely to be a borderline case so disruptive editing fits. Related diffs: 1, 2, 3.
- But anyways, there are several revert reasons given by Huggle you can choose, each corresponding to a specific warning template (assuming all lv1):
- Removal of AfD template - {{uw-afd1}}
- Personal attacks - {{uw-npa1}}
- Inappropriate biographical content - {{uw-biog1}}
- Blanking pages - {{uw-blank1}}
- Removal of content - {{uw-delete1}}
- Factual errors - {{uw-error1}}
- Biased content - {{uw-npov1}}
- Spam - {{uw-spam1}}
- Removal of speedy deletion template - {{uw-speedy1}}
- Editing tests - {{uw-test1}}
- Failing to cite a reliable source - {{uw-unsourced1}}
- Vandalism - {{uw-vandalism1}} - this is the same as pressing the revert button (default is Q) but has a different edit summary
- Above are the only options I can choose from Huggle as a revert reason, and there is no "Disruptive editing". I do agree that Huggle can introduce a new revert reason with the {{uw-disruptive1}} template. Thanks! -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 02:22, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm not questioning why you placed the template, uw-disruptive would be the one I would place as well, my issue is with the template's content, and I don't think you have anything to do with that. I checked the templates and didn't see that text, but I'll raise it there. For the record, I use twinkle. Walter Görlitz (talk) 03:37, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

Vandalism is forcibly rejecting a documented opinion writer
A CNN-quoted columnist (Magid) called 98 First Edition evolutionary, not revolutionary. Another columnist said it more strongly, in slightly more technical terms, that it was a "point upgrade" to 95, i.e. unworthy. I simply cited a STILL different opinion writer, who seems to write about both USA-focused and European-focused computer topics.
My SECOND edit was more nuanced, i.e. SOME SAY rather than IT IS. That's not Vandalism Semree (talk) 15:32, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Semree: The article is not the place to argue which version is "the real Windows 98". -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 15:39, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Please let us at least agree that it is not vandalism. Also, "IS 'the real'" is NOT better, a mistake I also made. On my next edit, I will definitely use the word WAS, since this is not a discussion about what is but what WAS.
- On a personal note, for the laptop I bought for my younger brother I had the store load SECOND EDITION in place of what it had. Yes it cost, but -- it was a present. Since the article covers both FIRST and SECOND edition, doing a compare and contrast is EXACTLY the right place, unless you are advocating splitting the article into two OR MORE parts (the third being the comparison). Semree (talk) 15:54, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- On the basis of the "HUGGLE" tag placed on the mistaken REVERT, and having read the Wiki policy stating
- "The principal idea of Huggle as an anti-vandalism tool is to make it possible for Wikipedia to stay as open and free as possible (allowing everyone to edit without any restrictions), while keeping it clean of any vandalism,"
- I am proceeding with the described edit. While I truly do no believe the readers of Wiki will gain by splitting this article, you are entitled to point in that direction. In the meantime, the article has THREE major areas- FIRST EDITION, SECOND EDITION, and a comparison. The comparison is at this point rather weak. I'll see what I can do to improve this, based on the above. Semree (talk) 16:14, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Updates by Steveryangames
Hello PlyrStar93,
We just got a message about making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. What is the proper procedure to have these edits link to Steve Ryan (author). If you look at Mr. Ryan's credintals on his website, steveryangames.com you will see that the edits (and links) were being used to cross reference his credentials to television shows and books that he created.
Thank you for your time. Steveryangames (talk) 04:15, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Steveryangames: Would you mind explaining why you were adding the phrase "Created by Steve Ryan" to like every section of the following articles:

Commons image
I AM THE CREATOR OF THE FILE YOU CLAIMED WAS FLAGGED FOR COPYRIGHT VIOLATION. I OWN AND CREATED IT. IT IS A MAP. THAT MAP IS ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA FOR THAT LOCATION. I OWN THE IMAGE.INTERNETPERSON (talk) 12:02, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hello INTERNETPERSON: for Commons licensing please resolve them on the talk page of image at Commons, and don't bring to enwiki. But as a heads up, if an image has been released somewhere else first, it needs to be released under a compatible license before it gets accepted on Commons, no matter who made the work; and naming an image "I own the copyright to this image" won't help you either. Also, when you leave messages, don't use the repeating pound characters as they mess up for format. Anymore mess-up of my talk page formatting from you will get rolled back without further replies. Thanks. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 13:04, 28 September 2017 (UTC)

Deleted edits
You mentioned my edits “have been undone because they did not appear constructive”. Please explain how they were not constructive? They added Season 11 and yes a lot of information was TBC but the whole point is to update it in the coming months. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cl121-cw (talk • contribs) 01:22, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Cl121-cw: There was some IP proxy user randomly undoing edits and issuing bogus warnings (and it's still ongoing with other IP's after the old ones got blocked), I caught them up so I reverted the IP's edits - i.e. someone left a false warning to your talk page and I am the one who removed it. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 01:29, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
Why did you revert my edits?. Just curious. 109.146.144.27 (talk) 01:27, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- @109.146.144.27: Was an accidental revert so I already self undone my own revert. Thanks! -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 01:31, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

Requesting an article
There appears to be a misunderstandig, as I was trying to include a request for wikipedia to include a biography, by profession and by nacionality. It is not vandalism. Perhaps it was typed and included in a not proper space ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jose Augusto Bittencourt (talk • contribs) 16:42, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- There is no misunderstanding. You erased content and replaced with your autobiography. You repeatedly wrote about yourself, which is a clear conflict of interest, even when a draft was declined, and were told repeatedly to stop. Your account has been blocked temporarily, so you can reflect, and learn how the encyclopedia works. Please read the guidelines. If you have any questions about how Wikipedia works, please ask at the Tea House. -- Alexf(talk) 16:52, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Jose Augusto Bittencourt: If you are requesting an article, you should follow what others have done in the request page - list the name of your requested article and give a brief description+citation. This should be listed just above the {{div col end}} line of the appropriate section. While it's advised to provide adequate information, copy-pasting the content of an article you created by yourself (and erasing other content) is not the way to do it. BTW in case you haven't seen this, just linking here. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 16:59, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

Pale Moon build for Windows XP
Hello, I'm PlyrStar93. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Pale Moon (web browser), but you didn't provide a source.
I have already provide a link to official palemoon forum in my last change that you have been rejected for reasons that are not clear to me. Also I'm writing this message on the New Moon that running on Windows XP so what other sources do you need? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.63.38.5 (talk) 23:30, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
- @46.63.38.5: Hi, it's mainly about reliable sources - GitHub page and web forum are generally unacceptable as a reference and sometimes they are primary sources. You can check out the policies about primary sources and secondary sources there, thanks! -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 23:38, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia rules allows me to use primary souces to make descriptive statements of facts:
A primary source may only be used on Wikipedia to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge.
You can verify this statement by yourself, just by installing New Moon on Windows XP-based computer (or virtual machine). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.63.38.5 (talk) 23:48, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
