Main Phtoto

Can we please get a new main photo up? All of these low quality photos that were taken live look like crap. The Wu deserves a better main photo.

Hip Hop Honors

I was doing a small touch up (the biggie section was written as if someone were simply describing the detials..in a terrible way i.e. biggies takes this line and says...) I reworded the first line in the hip hop honors part, but am not going to attempt the rest of that section. It appears as this.. While initial reports stated that theNick Brown was along for the ride and got busted for coke posessions group had issues with VH1's security staff .... Is Nick brown the former associate who is sueing them? Should it be 'While initial repots stated that THE GROUP had issues with vh1's security. (is that relevant?)

A Section titled Beef?

That must be why the article needs cleanup.. "Beef" for describing a situation with the cops seems a bit slang. Section needs re-naming. FPS_Tony 6:21 EST, March 3, 2007

That makes no sense but whatever, it's been changed to Controversy. LilWyte 10:28, March 30, 2007

Wu-Tang Mountain

I changed the origin of the word Wu Tang in the main article. The original mentioning of the state Wu is incorrect: the characters are different. Wu in Wu-Tang means martial, the same character in Wushu. Wu-Tang is the Northern God in Taoism who was (according to Taoist text) once a prince in northern Hebei during the reign of the Yellow Emperor. The British Museum has a collection of his statues in their Asian Collections.

Albums template

I'm not sure that the gallery of album covers should be a template. This is the only article that uses it. Tim Ivorson 2006-07-08

I have citation for influences section, dont know how to add

in the Influence section, i have a citation for kanye west being influenced by RZA, which is needed in the last sentence. it is this url - http://www.gale.com/free_resources/bhm/bio/west_k.htm. i found it on Kanye West References, it is number 3.

im a newbie still learning this site, hope it helps 8/23/06 edit-looks like its been done, thanks

d-struktiv

this guy is not a wu-tang member. he is a wu-affiliate. cappadonna is not even on the clan chapter of the wiki (which is correct). im changing it

bizzle?

What, first D-Struktiv and then Bizzle? New Wu-Tang members don't done grow on trees. I'm changing it and don't ya'll be adding some false alarms.

Discography

There are two pages for Wu-related albums, Wu-tang albums and the regular discography. They both have their pros and cons so they should be merged

OLD DIRTY BASTARD

I dont think because old dirty bastard died he should be labeled as a former member, he should be labeled as a member but decesed. for after all he never left the group before he died.

-Yeah I changed that back because I agree with you on that one.

wrong tense

the following paragraph is written in the wrong tense and needs to be changed

Shortly before the release of The W, ODB escapes custody while being transported from a rehab centre to an L.A. court and is considered a fugitive. At a record release party for The W, ODB, his face hidden by an orange parka, isn't recognised until he's introduced to the crowd. With police officers present outside, ODB performs briefly and then flees, fearing capture. Six days later ODB causes a commotion signing autographs in a McDonalds in South Philadelphia. Unaware of who is causing the ruckus, the manager calls the police. When the cops arrive, ODB mistakes them for fans until they draw their guns. ODB flees the restaurant but is stopped while trying to start his vehicle. After presenting a fake ID, he admits who he really is and is arrested. [9]

Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues is a Mathematics producer album

Please stop listing this as the next Clan group album. The next Clan group album is being spear-headed by Ghostface Killah, as was stated many times by both RZA and Ghostface. Ghostface has said in interviews this year that the next Wu group album will come only after he releases his sequel solo album Supreme Clientele Presents... Blue & Cream: The Wally Era, which may not get released until 2018 or later. Wu-Tang: The Saga Continues was crafted by Mathematics and is his album. Please go re-watch those interviews with Math and RZA and try to understand what it is they are saying. He produced the whole album, it's his baby. RZA says in that interview that this project was Math's idea he had for years. Much in the same vein Math released his other albums, Love, Hell or Right (Da Come Up), The Problem, Mathematics Presents Wu-Tang Clan & Friends: Unreleased, Mathematics Presents The Return of Wu-Tang Clan & Friends, and The Answer. It is not a Clan album. Please stop undoing removal edits of this album on this page. It is borderline edit warring. Wufan10304 (talk) 17:37, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use of slang in article

Some parts of the article use words outside the Queen's English or standard American English (New York slang), and I believe that as an encyclopedia, we should maintain the use of a formal tone. Thanks, Branchofpine. Branchofpine, Have a chat, My edits 16:44, 8 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
