Stop inserting results before they have happened

Please do not predict the future on Wikipedia. On 23/04/17 you edited Xiao Guodong's page with his World Championship result yet he was not eliminated until the next day, over eighteen hours later. However likely or certain the result may seem, please stop inserting results before they have happened.

2010 EPTC Plate Events 1–6

Hi how are you I'm have just uncovered 6 events staged in the above events. These 6 plate events were for all the players who lost in the first round of the 6 EPTC Events that season. I have the results of these finals I want to add them as non ranking events on Wikipedia. Are you happy with this ? 92.251.158.84 (talk) 14:52, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing the flag from the infobox as per WP:INFOBOXFLAG, as the flag does not convey any extra information. Is this OK with you? Quasar G t - c 08:39, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do not predict the future on Wikipedia

Hello. Do not post future, projected tennis rankings on Wikipedia. The current rankings still apply, Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. You always have to wait for the official ranking update on Monday.—J. M. (talk) 16:07, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Seriously, stop doing it. You cannot enter rankings prematurely. Never post future rankings ahead of time. You always have to wait for the official update.—J. M. (talk) 15:50, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon For the third time: Stop updating rankings ahead of time. Always wait for the official ATP update on Monday. Do not post Monday ranking updates on Sunday. The old rankings still apply. You can only update the rankings when the update actually happens. No projected rankings in the infoboxes, no future dates.—J. M. (talk) 20:35, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Uk Senior Championship

Hi can you open a page for the above please ?. If you can I will add the draw as the tournament is in progress. Regards 92.251.160.136 (talk) 18:07, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are 4 wildcard matches with the 4 winners advancing to the quarter-finals where they will meet the 4 seeded players. I will be able to fill in the draw but I can't create a page. Cheers 92.251.160.136 (talk) 18:10, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi why is the the UK Seniors Championship in red on the snooker season 2017/2018 homepage when it should be highlighted in Blue ?. Regards 92.251.180.181 (talk) 11:35, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article 2017 UK Seniors Championship has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No content other than infobox. No citations, no showing of significance

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 18:18, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tournament Page

Hello, 2 things: 1) I proposed a deletion, meaning it will be deleted no sooner than a week from now, so there will be plenty of time for it to be filled in; and 2) WP tries not to put incomplete articles into the article space. You could instead try using your sandbox or draft space. We prefer to have only articles which are complete be published. In any case, there is no serious issue, and you can remove the Proposed deletion template once you or another user fixes the issues. Thanks ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 19:36, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Martinevans123. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mark Williams (snooker player), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. . Martinevans123 (talk) 19:25, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Except that it hasn't yet "been removed and archived in the page history for now". I thought you should have the opportunity to provide a supporting source or, failing that, remove it yourself. How long do you need? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:10, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So you removed it with the edit summary "When you want every single edit to be sourced, edit all articles in Wiki by yourself. Whoever editor you ask, no source is reliable. As all the websites that track snooker data (cuetracker, etc) are unreliable, then find more reliable. The best you have for now)". If you want to know what WP considers a "reliable source" you could read "WP:RS". Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:33, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, you don't actually need to "provide a reliable source of information even when you go to the toilet every morning". (Alternate days would probably suffice). But my point was not just that you did not provide a reliable source, but that you provided no source at all. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:47, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sunny Akani

Hi how are you ?. Can we change Akani Songsermsawad to Sunny Akani at the top of his Wikipedia page as he is now referred to as Sunny Akani. It will be less confusing. If you Wikipedia Sunny Akani at the moment it leads you to Akani Songsermsawad page on the search engine. Can we edit that please ?.
