It is later named, iFinance Canada[8], a company that provides financing to patients throughout Canada. Today, iFinance Canada is the parent company of six subsidiaries, offering consumer financing through service providers across Canada.[9] In other business interests, Kaplan controls real estate investments [10] located in Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria that include private and commercial properties.[11]

It is a tribute to the fashion industry and their contribution to those affected by HIV/AIDS over the years. 100% of the proceeds benefit the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) and The Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF). Kaplan's two business advice books, The INTERNet and Best Practices, draws on experiences from cosmetic doctors and talks about managing and marketing a medical website with recent industry and economic changes. Kaplan's last book, If You Don't Laugh, You'll Cry is a humourous collection of illustrations on cosmetic enhancement. Her newest book, How to be Successful In Spite of Yourself will be published in May 2018.[29]
