My personal experience seeing People come to or attracted to palaces just to see and meet the royals, like Wadiyar Palace, Scindia Palace or Veliapura Palace. Those royals may be elected members. Mostly they take advantage of their social standings and win easily as elected representatives. The core issue is that people are attracted to them purely because they are royals, irrespective if they are Indian elected Democratic representative.Decan.reporter (talk) 16:16, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
