The Film Club
[edit]- ... that the popularity of Canadian author David Gilmour's memoir The Film Club helped him become Pelham Edgar Visiting Professor of Literary Studies at the University of Toronto?

- Expansion does not appear to be sufficient, however, I would like a second opinion, as this is my first review of an expansion. Anne (talk) 22:13, 20 April 2012 (UTC) In the last paragraph you mention that a reviewer "gave the film"-what film? Anne (talk) 22:24, 20 April 2012 (UTC) Sources fine, hook supported, image in article fair use. Anne (talk) 22:37, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- It is sufficient. Articles need to be 5x expanded. It was 289 characters. 289 times 5 = 1,445. The current size is 1,841 characters. When I typed film, I meant book which I changed. The character count is from Wikipedia:Did you know/DYKcheck which is a useful tool both for creating/expanding DYK articles and reviewing them. SL93 (talk) 23:03, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
- I can vouch for SL93. Before expansion, the article was 289 characters. Now it's about 6x more. Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:33, 22 April 2012 (UTC)
