However, thanks to long time influencer, Josh Kulick, he was able to make his music more widespread. Career

From 7th to 10th grade, he used the handle 'Pussy Bacon'.[6] He changed his name to the famous 'Ugly God' because of social reason, and his parents.[7] He also states that he made the name up on the spot. Creating the phrase 'I'm Real Ugly' which evolved into 'Ugly God'.

In 2016, he released his single titled "Water" on March 16, 2016, on his SoundCloud account, before being released for digital download as a single on November 19, 2016, by Asylum Records.[8] The song debuted at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100, and later reached number 80 on the chart.[9][10]

On August 4, 2017, Ugly God released his mixtape titled The Booty Tape.[11] It charted at no. 27 on the Billboard 200.[12]
