Fragment

The introductory sentence "Traditionally, Indian governments at federal and state level have sought to ensure a high degree of protection for workers, but in practice, form of government and because labour is a subject in the concurrent list of the Indian Constitution," is an inocmplent sentence fragment. It is not clear what the Wikipedian was looking to say here.

Neutrality

This article needs rewritten to give information on Indian Labour Laws, rather than to bemoan their existence! Parslad (talk) 19:06, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Additions

I've done some initial work here on improving the page's framework. There's plenty of sources for Indian labour law, and information on it. Sadly, there is quite a charged debate on labour law's existence (though it seems mostly focused on government approval being needed for dismissals). If anyone can add information and especially if they can create case pages, this would be excellent to see. Wikidea 20:20, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the citations go to some variant of 'page not found'. As I know very little about the issue, I politely request that either links that do work be provided, or the page get edited to remove the necessity for the links. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.200.182.198 (talk) 08:59, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
