Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. I came to ask you to stop disruptive editing on Maria Theresa, and had assumed WP:Good faith but I see that you've already been warned multiple times. To clarify, no German Queen has ever ruled in her own right, as it was against the law in Germany for a woman to rule. No woman technically ever ruled in her own right over the Holy Roman Empire as the prince electors always elected from their own. Maria Theresa was the daughter of Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor but that is not why she became Empress. She was the consort of Francis I, who was elected as emperor. After his death she maintained her role while her son, Joseph II, was emperor. She was in her own right the Queen regnant of Bohemia and Hungary, but not ever as a regnant of Germany or Austria. -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 19:58, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

She was Archduchess regnant of Austria, Willthacheerleader18. The Pragmatic Sanction of 1713 made that possible. She inherited the throne of the Archduchy of Austria from her father along with his other hereditary dominions, though not without great, ummm, controversy. Yes, Archduchess regnant is true. I should have clarified that in saying Germany and Austria I mean Holy Roman Empire.
