HEY YOU TWAT, I HOPE YOU DIES BECAUSE OF COLORECTAL CANCER

Thank you! :-)

Thank you for removing the vandalism that was repeatedly added to Aga Khan III. I just wanted to leave you a message and let you know that your edits didn't go unnoticed and they were appreciated very much. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 20:38, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CAPTAIN RAJU. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to New England Colonies— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. CAPTAIN RAJU(T) 18:40, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Struck out above mistaken warning, as it was meant for an IP whose edit you reverted. JACKINTHEBOXTALK 14:10, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Ifnord (talk) 20:27, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thanks for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia! Please also take note of the above message. Cheers JACKINTHEBOXTALK 16:53, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Colorectal cancer - Lifestyle

Hi, why did you undo the change regarding fiber intake? Please look up the cited references. The original sentence in the Wikipedia is wrong.

The 2007 review by one single author did state: "there is no strong evidence to suggest that fiber intake (including more fruits and vegetables) has any effect on colorectal cancer risk."

But the 2011 report lists Fibre intake as convincing on pages 3 and 4. "The evidence that consumption of foods containing dietary fibre protects against colorectal cancer is convincing." It's not even just probable.

A barnstar for you!

Thanks for dedicating your time and energy to patrolling recent changes and removing vandalism and disruption! Keep up the good work! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:30, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't appear that you're familiar yet with warning users. After we revert vandalism or other disruptive edit, we'll typically follow-up by warning the user on their user talk page. A good tool to enable in your preferences (under the gadgets tab) is Twinkle. It will help you by making the process of leaving warnings and notices much easier (along with providing many other useful tools). If you have questions about any of this, please feel free to message me on my user talk page here and I'll be happy to help! Thanks again for your dedication and time - it's highly appreciated! :-D ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:33, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning users

Hi, Jebcubed! If you hadn't known already, you can warn users who have made unconstructive etc. edits with just a few clicks using Twinkle—go to their talk page, and move your cursor to the TW (just left to the Wikipedia search bar) to see a drop down list of all the semi-automated actions you can do using Twinkle, including Warn to warn/notify user, and Wel to welcome user (much more efficient/less time-consuming than manually adding a warning template). You may also want to familarise yourself with the other actions. Cheers JACKINTHEBOXTALK 13:25, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Besides, it also creates an automatic edit summary relating to the type of warning/notice chosen (I took nearly four months to discover all this myself)!

Oversight / Revision Deletion

Hi, I am dropping you a note about the revert you made at David Rutherford earlier. You were absolutely correct to revert, but with an accusation like that you should ideally then pass it on to admins either for oversight or revision deletion. I normally use the IRC channel to notify them about this, it's very quick and easy once you've set it up. I've already reported this particular case and it's been dealt with, but this might be something to consider next time you come across something like this.
