The Mita Congregation is a Christian congregation based in Puerto Rico whose doctrine is based on the Bible and whose foundation is the Holy Trinity. The congregation has chapters in the United States, Canada, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico,Spain, and in the Dominican Republic.

Congregation Mita born in Puerto Rico in 1940 .The Mita believes "Mita" is the new name of the Holy spirit of God in these times. According to their beliefs in 1940 God revealed to Juanita Garcia Peraza the new name of the Holy Spirit. The Church of Mita began with only 11 members in Arecibo and presently has over 60,000 members.

In 1990 they finished the biggest Church in Latin America with a capacity of 6,500 people.[citation needed]

Congregation Mita are found in North America, Latin America and Spain. Mita Religion is a Christian Church where is annuced the God manifestation as Holy trinity (God Father Jehova, God Son Jesus Christ, and God Holy Spirit Mita). Members of Mita religion use white clothes symbolism to the transformation in their lives.

After death of Juanita Garcia Peraza in 1970 Teofilo Vargas Sein "Aaron" was choosen by Mita to follow as Phrophet of God in these times.
