A fact from this article was featured on Wikipedia's Main Page in the On this day section on January 1, 2018. |
The numbers don't add up - could it be a typo?
The Benoist XIV could only carry a single passenger, I don't see how it could carry 1,205 passengers on 172 flights.96.254.4.120 (talk) 20:21, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- Mention of number of flights and passengers since deleted. David notMD (talk) 11:52, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- Well, somebody had it reversed. Also, it is claimed that St. Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line was worlds first scheduled airline, but Compagnie générale transaérienne reportedly began scheduled passenger service in March 1913, 9 months prior to Airboat Line. --Mikoyan21 (talk) 14:24, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
Time discrepancy
The article states that the two places were a day's travel apart, then goes on to quote much smaller times for various modes of transport. Widneymanor (talk) 20:39, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
- Sentence revised to state as much as a day's travel. David notMD (talk) 11:51, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
