The 2019 World Beach Games, (Arabic: 2019 ألعاب شاطئ العالم) officially known as the 2019 ANOC World Beach Games and commonly known as Doha 2019, is an inaugural international beach multi-sport event organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). It was originally scheduled for five days, 12 to 16 October 2019, in Doha, Qatar, with the opening rounds for certain events being held on 11 October 2019, the day before the opening ceremony on 12 October.

On 30 May 2019 it was announced that San Diego has been pulled as the host city because not enough private funds had been pledged to bankroll it. The ANOC said the event will still take place in 2019 and will be relocated to another host city that has "the financial guarantees necessary and a proven track record to host a world-class event.". In 14 June 2019 Qatar was announced as the host of the 2019 World Beach Games.

Host selection

On 30 October 2015, San Diego was unanimously approved as host of the inaugural World Beach Games at the ANOC General Assembly in Washington D.C..Sarasota, Sochi, Dubai and a city in China were the other candidate cities which made bids to host the games.

The games were originally scheduled to be held from 29 September 2017, till 9 October 2017. However, in August 2016 it was announced to be postponed to 2019.
