Subhashree Ganguly is an Indian film actress and model. The highest-paid actress of Tollywood. Her accolades include five Kalakar Awards. She forayed into showbiz by becoming the winner of Fairever Anandalok Nayikar Khonje in 2006.[2][3][4][5] One of the most popular Celebrities in Bengali cinema. She known for her promising and impressive appearences in her films. She is also known as one of the best female dancers in Tollywood. Ganguly has won four Tele Cine Awards, an International Bengali Films Awards and an Anandalok Award.
Subhashree was born in 3 November 1989 at Bardhaman. She was raised in her family with parents. Her father Debaprasad Ganguly is a school clerk. Her mother's name is Bina Ganguly. She has a sister name Deboshree Ganguly. She studied at Bardhaman Municipal Girls High School; Birla Institute of Technology and Science. She received M.Sc degree in technology from Indian Institutes of Management. In 2006 Subhashree joined famous reality show Anandalok Nayikar Khonje and becoming the winner of the show. After that she started modeling and offered for an Oriya film, Mate Ta Love Helare (2008). Subsequently, she made her debut in Bengali cinema with Pitribhumi, in which she played a supporting role. In the same year she offered for Bajimaat, which won her Anandalok Award best female debut. After that bengali film director Raj Chakraborty casted her for his new film Challenge as a leading actress, which made her the talk of the town. She won Tele Cine Awards (2010) best actress of the year for the film. Time by time she becoming more famous and offered for many big budget films like Paran Jai Jaliya Re (2009), Khokababu (2012), Romeo (2011), Khoka 420 (2013), Megh Roddur (2013), Boss: Born to Rule (2013), Chalbaaz (2018), Nabab(2017), Boss 2: Back to Rule (2017), Dekh Kemon Lage (2017), Amar Aponjon (2017) her first Bollywood project comes with action-romance film Spark opposite Rajneesh Duggal.
Acting career
Debut, struggle and success
After winning Anandalok Nayikar Khonje (2006) Subhashree was offered for her first film, she made her debut in Oriya films with Mate Ta Love Helare. Subsequently, she made her debut in Bengali films with Pitribhumi, in which she played a supporting role. Directed by Prabhat Roy.[6] After that she offered for Bajimaat in which she played the leading role. In the year 2008 Bengali Film Director Raj Chakraborty casted her for his new film Challenge opposite Dev. This film made her the talk of the town. Then she offered for many big budget bengali films like Paran Jai Jaliya Re,Romeo, Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay, Khokababu, Khoka 420, Boss: Born to Rule, Boss 2: Back to Rule, Nabab, Abhimaan (2016 film), Megh Roddur, Prem Ki Bujhini, Dekh Kemon Lage, Amar Aponjon etc. Most of her films are successful. Ganguly is one of the most favourite actresses of bengali film directors and producers. She has also appeared in a Bollywood film named Spark (2013) opposite Rajneesh Duggal and a Tamil Film named Mane Thane Paiya but this film is still not released. Her first film with Bangladesh actor Shakib Khan, Nabab, created sales records in Bangladesh film history and went on to became one of the most successful films in recent times.[7] [failed verification]Although Subhashree is one of the most successful actress in Bengali cinema.

Accolades
Ganguly has won an International Bengali Film Awards for Best Actress for Honeymoon (2018) and five Kalakar Awards for best actress in leading role for Khokababu (2013), best jodi ( Dev & Subhashree) for Khokababu (2013), best actress for Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay (2015), Most Promising Actress for Boss: Born to Rule (2014) and Tolly Queen of The Year for Nabab (2018). She has also won four Tele Cine Awards best actress for Challenge, best actress for Khokababu (2013), best actress in leading role for Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay (2014) and best actress for Honeymoon (2018). She has recevied a Bengali Youth and Cultural award.
She has also recevied an Anandalok Award Best Debut Actress for Bajimaat (2008). She was awarded by the State government for her acting. She was the winner of Anandalok Nayikar Khonje (2006).
