Bren Esports formerly known as Aether Main,[3] is a Southeast Asian professional esports team based in the Philippines. It has competitive teams in Mobile Legends, Clash Royale, Arena of Valor, Vainglory and Hearthstone.[4] The organization was founded by Bernard "Bren" Chong on 11 March 2018.[5]

Mobile Legends

Bren Esports's Mobile Legends team competes in the local tournaments for the MPL.

On January 12, 2019 to January 13, 2019 the eight Filipino participant teams gathered at the Ayala Malls Circuit Makati for the Season 3 of MPL (2019) which was held at Makati City, Philippines.[6][7]

On June 2019, all the female members of its team got third place in the Female Esports League of Mobile Legends (FSL) which was held at Singapore.[8][9]

Arena of Valor

On October 1, 2018, Bren Esports participated at the Arena of Valor tournament along with four team from Singapore, Malaysia and fellow Filipino team Maxbox Gaming in Philippines for the semi and grand finals of Arena of Valor's Cup Season 3.[10][11]

Inaugural

MSC 2018

The tournament began on July 27, 2018 to July 29, 2018, with seven team from representative countries competes at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang South East Asia Cup which was held at Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO) in Indonesia. The participant composed of the previous MPL Champion's from Southeast asian countries.[12] Bren Esports got the championship after defeating its opponents.[13][14][15]

MSC 2019

On June 19, 2019 to June 20, 2019, MSC (2019) was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum as their group stage while the main event was held on June 21, 2019 to June 23, 2019 at the same venue.[16]

The participants came from Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia, with a total of twelve team.[17][18][19] On the first day of competition, Bren Esports beat the Team Resolution of Myanmar.[20] In the second day of competition, team Overclockers of Vietnam defeated Bren Esports causing them to dropped from the lower bracket. On June 23, 2019 the grand finals of MSC 2019, ONIC Esports of Indonesia took the championship title after defeating the ArkAngel and Louvre Esports.[21][22][23][24]
