It should be added to Controversies section that Post Malone cut his hair in Oct 2018 because he had dreads forming. He revealed this after showing his new haircut on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/p/Bonh-7YB10d/?utm_source=ig_embed)

"Had 2 big ass dreads. Plz don't stop listening to my music,"Post Malone said according to AllHipHop.com https://allhiphop.com/news/post-malone-has-a-brand-new-look-xKnBXJdBNkeG1MMdQ8zYQg/ Onlinecrates (talk) 20:02, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: A change in hairstyle is not automatically a controversy. This would need a much better source explaining why his new hairstyle is encyclopedically significant. Grayfell (talk) 20:58, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Citation amendment under "Tattoos"

There are a few assertations made which would benefit from citation under the 'tattoos' section. For example: "Post has a number of tattoos that he inked himself and has also inked tattoos on several friends and acquaintances[114], inspired by Justin Bieber. A citation is needed to support the assertation that Post Malone was inspired by Bieber, otherwise it would be speculative. Similarly, the sentences "He has tattoos on his hand and fingers of artists who have influenced him.CX is the best clan" and "In recognition of the 2nd Amendment,[115] he has a tattoo on his triceps of a snake encoiled around a rifle" both require citation for the same reasons. "Laconic vocal style"?

What does that mean? "Laconic" usually refers to a phrase that uses few words in a short and concise way to convey a broader meaning (source 1, source 2). Needs clarification imo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.228.0.192 (talk) 21:21, 14 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Profile picture

The profile picture needs to be cropped portrait — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michael14375 (talkcontribs) 17:41, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why? I am unaware of a policy which dictates that. --SVTCobra (talk) 04:21, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but most profile pictures are portrait and it wouldn't be that hard to crop portrait. Michael14375 (talk) 05:17, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Rather than cropping the photo (which I think would look weird because he's bent over), I think using an image such as File:Post Malone 2018.jpg would be a better option. This photo was the infobox illustration until March 9. I don't know why people began replacing it with various in-concert photos. --SVTCobra (talk) 13:13, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop Calling Post Malone A Rapper!

There have been three sources about Post Malone saying he's not a rapper. If you call him a rapper one more time, someone's gonna have to remove "rapper" from Post Malone's occupation list. End. Of. Story.

Occupation For Post Malone

There are three sources on the article saying that Post Malone is not a rapper, but is a singer. Can you please remove "rapper" from the occupation list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.70.37.196 (talk) 02:38, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation For Post Malone #2

Can anybody here please change Post Malone's occupations to "singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.70.37.196 (talk) 20:09, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Associated Acts

Louis Bell's not his only associated act, there's more. Keenkay (talk) 17:05, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Singer instead of rapper

@Billiekhalidfan: @Ss112: @Binksternet: @Deathawk: I know Post Malone supposed be a "rapper" but he sings more then he raps, I think it would be better to called him a singer then a rapper. The artist don't even considered himself a rapper. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 23:01, 8 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What do all the sources call him? Binksternet (talk) 04:53, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Binksternet: After I take a second look at these sources [1] [2] [3], they explicitly called him as a rapper. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 00:32, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Binksternet: It doesn't matter if those three sources call him a rapper, he's more of a singer, so can somebody here please change Post Malone's occupation to "singer, songwriter, and record producer" or "singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer"? AndrewTheLogoMaker (talk)

Not done. On Wikipedia The sources are what matter, not anyone's personal opinion. Best, - CorbieVreccan 21:08, 8 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources are wrong. He hasn't rapped a day in his life. It doesn't matter if you call him it. He explicitely said he is not a rapper as well.

Transition to "person"

Hello guys.

First of all, I'd like to start by saying that we should put this article under "person" template as he's not only a musical artist but an actor as well.

He's scheduled to star in a new film soon and has done voice roles. I think we should transition Post Malone to a person. Hopefully it made sense.

Please give me your opinion/thoughts on it.

Thank you

Smart Rolls-Royce?

Post's white Rolls-Royce was driving through ...

This makes it sound like nobody was responsible for the crash because the car was driving itself around town. I'm not really interested in correcting this article, but I wanted to point out that this is really sloppy grammar. Maybe someone more interested in Post Malone could try to improve it just a little bit.
