This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 115.70.7.33 (talk) at 05:45, 4 April 2020 (→‎Mad About You). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

The last six months of this talk page and its discussions were archived to Archive 25 on January 1, 2020.

  • I will try to fix any image problems as soon as possible if a bot/editor leaves me a notice about an image and then revert the bot/editor's edit to acknowledge it as resolved. I like to keep things neat and focused on discussions, not line after line of image problems to take care of.
  • I've been here thirteen years. I know most policies. If you use a template to warn me (and especially if you're only here to pick fights or vandalize), it's usually going to get removed unless I was clearly in the wrong. Elaborate on your reversion reason beyond the template. I try to do the same on my talk page comments, so the same common courtesy should be extended here.
    • For transparency, that is all that I remove from my talk page completely outside of vandalism. Everything is archived as appropriate every six months, usually on or around January 1 and July 1; before you claim I deleted your message (unless you're a vandal), check the latest archive.
  • I do carry rollback privileges, so if you need any help and I'm on, you can ask me here. However, note I will not get into edit wars and only use rollback for basic vandalism repair.
  • I do carry file moving privileges, so if you accidentally upload a logo or picture as "EJNEDC_128929_21.jpg", feel free to ask me to name it to something a bit more logical.
  • I also work on the conversation style of 'respond on your talk page, you respond here, I'll respond there', etc.
  • Please, if you can, try to list template notices under one heading for my convenience, rather than template after template if there are multiple notices. It makes acknowledgement much easier.
  • No profanity please. You can make a point just as easily without laying down an F-bomb here (or as some have done, homophobic slurs). I reserve the right to refactor your comment to remove profanity (but I will at least leave a link to it in the history for full disclosure); I don't like going to my talk page and having to skim through swear words over and over again.
  • If you're here to leave some kind of attack on my page because of a vandalism rollback, reversion or some other kind of finding, I'm not exactly quaking that you're going to 'hack' my page or that I'm whatever choice obscenity you'd like to call me; it's getting reverted by me or another patrolling editor anyways. Before you leave a message, ask yourself; is it worth the effort to add a strike on the way to a block?
  • And please post in chronological order, on the bottom or by using the 'add heading' link. It's not that hard, it's common talk page etiquette and custom, and keeps things clean.

Evan Kosiner

Pursuant to your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BuyNOW TV, I've reviewed Evan Kosiner, agreed with your raspberry, and listed it for discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Evan Kosiner (2nd nomination). Not to canvass, of course, but just to let you know if you care. Bearcat (talk) 04:38, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for bothering you, but...

New Page Patrol needs experienced volunteers
  • New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
  • If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions and review our instructions page. You can apply for the user-right HERE. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here)(click me!) 22:36, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unresolved footnote at Charter Spectrum

In this edit, you changed a footnote-ref mark from "^" to "†" and likewise changed the footnote itself to match. But there was a second use of that mark (the note was referenced in both columns of that table), which is now dangling unresolved. Should it also be changed, or else a new and different footnote added for that other use? DMacks (talk) 17:50, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the quick-fix! DMacks (talk) 18:00, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mad About You

Hi, I was wondering whether you had an additional source of information for this edit from last year, or whether you were just rewording what was already there (which appears to be original research): https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mad_About_You&diff=906874205&oldid=906601630 From my own (limited) research, the episodes do not appear to be cut as they almost all seem to be too long to be syndication edits. 115.70.7.33 (talk) 03:54, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Glad that's sorted. That's pretty interesting though, and maybe worthy of mention on the Mill Creek article. 115.70.7.33 (talk) 05:45, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
