More "American" soapboxing

Hi Wily, can you look at American (word)? An user on multiple IPs keeps changing cited content to declare the normal English usage as "erroneous". The first IP did open a discussion at Talk:United States#"American" demonym, as that article is semi-protected. Since "American (word)" is unprotected, they are changing it instead.
