Strictly Come Dancing will return for its eighteenth series in October 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been confirmed that the series will be slightly shorter than planned.[1][2][3] Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will return as hosts, while Zoe Ball and Rylan Clark-Neal will return to host Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.
Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse will return to the judging panel. On 21 August 2020, it was announced that Bruno Tonioli would not be behind the judges' desk for some of the show, whilst a judge on Dancing with the Stars but would instead appear virtually.[4]
Professional dancers
On 6 March 2020, Kevin Clifton announced he was leaving the show after seven years.[5] On 26 March 2020, AJ Pritchard announced he was leaving the show after four years.[6] The other professional dancers from 2019 were all confirmed to be returning for the series. [7]
