Logan Austin Thirtyacre, better known as SuperMarioLogan and SML, is a YouTuber and puppeteer. He was born on November 17, 1994 in Pensacola, Florida. In general, he is most notable for his long career in YouTube, his controversial videos, and his winning of an $800,000 auction dinner with Tom Brady.

Early life

Thirtyacre grew up with an older brother, Lance, and a younger sister, Haleigh. His parents got separated at the age of three.

Thirtyacre had numerous medical problems throughout life. At the age of three or four, his skull was fractured by his brother, Lance. In third grade, he visited his cousins in Louisiana when he was diagnosed with West Nile virus and spinal meningitis. He also suffered superior mesenteric artery syndrome for many years and stated that he 'felt like (he) was going to throw up every time (he) tried to eat.' The syndrome became a crucial problem for Thirtyacre, as he was provided with a feeding tube and was sent to the hospital on numerous occasions, which overwhelmed him and prompted him to consider suicide.

When finally undergoing, and having survived surgery to treat the issue, Thirtyacre's stomach was still in an anesthetic state for over a month, and he had to consume food nasally. Thirtyacre eventually recovered from the medical complications and graduated from J.M. Tate High School.

Thirtyacre launched his YouTube career in 2007, creating synopses with stuffed animals, plushies, and puppets, many of them being Nintendo characters, such as Mario, Toad, Bowser, Rosalina, and Bowser Jr., among many others. His own original character, Jeffy, has become a phenomenon among many young children. However, over recent years, his channel has been notoriously deemed 'unsafe for kids' by news outlets such as Good Morning America and The Washington Post. Some schools across the nation, and even in other countries such as the U.K., have banned this content from being repeated within their schools to prevent bad influence. "Jeffy is a puppet star of a series of hit YouTube videos that have been watched tens of millions of times. They show him as a foul-mouthed, ill-behaved teenager who torments his father, who is played by Super Mario," says Carl Stroud of The Sun, when bringing to attention an incident in which a seven-year-old child had tied a rope around his neck, and claimed he "learned it from Jeffy."

After YouTube started demonetizing Thirtyacre's videos, he made the decision to make his newer videos more appropriate for kids. Many people thought this was redundant if he wasn't going to remove the old ones that were inappropriate.
