Category:CS1 errors: extra text: volume
This is a tracking category. It is used to build and maintain lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. It is not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.

Administrators: Please do not delete this category as empty! This category may be empty occasionally or even most of the time. |
This is a tracking category for CS1 citations that have |volume=
errors.
|volume=
has extra text
The templates are responsible for static text rendered in the citation. When |volume=
is used in a template, cs1|2 formats the volume value according to the style corresponding with the publication type associated with the used citation template.
The templates emit this error message when some form of the word "volume" ("volume", "vol.") is found in the value assigned to |volume=
.
To resolve this error, remove the extraneous text from the parameter value.
Pages with this error are automatically placed in Category:CS1 errors: extra text: volume.[a]
Although many (but not all) errors in the category can automatically be fixed by BattyBot, fixing your own errors is the best practice.
Many (although not all) cases in the category can automatically be fixed by clicking here to activate User:Citation bot.
