Eden English Boarding High School (Nepali: इडन इंग्लिश बोडिंग हाई स्कूल, नहरपुर, बुटवल-१३, रुपन्देही) is one of the private sector educational institute located in Butwal city, Rupandehi District. The school is established with the motto "To Eternal Wisdom", dedicated for delivering quality education that leads overall development of their students. School provides up to secondary level education on the English medium and is one of the member of PABSON (private and boarding schools organization of Nepal), a privately owned national committee founded for monitoring private and boarding schools of Nepal.
The school provides educational assistance for the production of primarily level skilled and educated manpower for the nation. Though the school is located on Butwal Sub-metro but focuses on the students to be collected from mid-urban communities of nearby areas.
The name of the school is adopted from The Garden of Eden.
History
Eden English Boarding School was first established in 1994 in Butwal Municipality, Ward No-8. It was founded and run by the founders and so created management committee till 2010 AD. After 2010, till to the present date, the school has been shifted to present location under the complete management of new committee.
Infrastructures and Facilities
School has a three-storey building containing 35 rooms for conducting classrooms, offices, laboratories, hostel and so on. The school is colored dark blue and yellow color combination and is surrounded by concrete-block fence. It contains a front yard with an estimated area of 1135 square meter with total area of school to be estimated of 1795 square meter. School contains all the essentials like school canteen for lunch break, school parking and so on. There are two school buses for transportation facility to be given to long distant students.
Extracurricular activities
The school focuses on the overall development of its students. Along with the academic studies, school conducts various types of indoor and outdoor sports and games. School organizes competitions on sports and games among the students who are categorized into four houses.
Each house has nearly equally divided students on the various basis of levels, genders and so on. Two teachers to every houses are assigned as House Teachers, those who can provide their valuable ideas and opinions to their respective students and scientifically organize the students for various competitions and assist them in getting good positions.
