1"Not So Happy Campers - Part 1"July 8, 2007[4]June 5, 2008
Twenty-Two campers arrive at Camp Wawanakwa where they learn they will be spending 8 weeks at the crummy old summer camp. The campers are split into 2 teams: the Screaming Gophers and the Killer Bass. The Screaming Gophers are Beth, Cody, Gwen, Heather, Justin, Katie, LeShawna, Lindsay, Noah, Owen and Trent. The Killer Bass are Bridgette, Courtney, DJ, Duncan, Eva, Ezekiel, Geoff, Harold, Izzy, Sadie and Tyler. The campers go into part 1 of their first challenge: jumping off a 1,000 foot high cliff.
2"Not So Happy Campers - Part 2"July 8, 2007[4]June 12, 2008
The Screaming Gophers win part 1 of the challenge by having only one person not jump (Beth) while the Killer Bass had two people not jump (Courtney and DJ). Due to Sadie missing Katie, Katie and Izzy switch teams. The campers go into part 2 of the challenge, which is building a hot tub from scratch. The Screaming Gophers win the challenge by building a good tub while the Bass' tub falls apart. At the first campfire ceremony, Ezekiel gets voted off due to him picking his nose and making sexist comments about girls.
3"The Big Sleep"July 15, 2007June 19, 2008
After a 20 kilometer run and an eating frenzy, the campers are faced with the "Awake-A-Thon." Heather forms an alliance with Lindsay and Beth, saying how she'll take them to the final three. After 3 days of no sleep, it's down to Duncan and Gwen. Gwen manages to outlast Duncan (who finally falls asleep on a toilet) and the Screaming Gophers win again. At the campfire ceremony, Eva gets voted off for letting her temper get the better of her when she destroyed her team's cabin when her MP3 Player got stolen (by Heather) and accusing her team of stealing it.
4"Dodgebrawl"July 22, 2007June 26, 2008

Chris puts the the two teams in a best-out-of-five game of dodgeball as their challenge. However, since Harold snored all night, Duncan, the Bass' strongest player, who had the bed above Harold's, couldn't sleep and has to sleep during the challenge. To make matter's worse, Owen and Cody turn out to be experts at dodgeball. When the Screaming Gophers are told they have to sit one person out, Noah immediately volunteers. The Screaming Gophers win the first two games and in order to stop the Killer Bass from losing again, Courtney wakes up Duncan and gets him to play. Using Duncan's strategies, the Killer Bass tie up the challenge 2-2. In the last game, Harold catches a hard-thrown ball from Owen, giving the Killer Bass their first victory. At the campfire ceremony, Noah gets voted off due to refusing to help out his team, and then insulting them later.

5"Not Quite Famous"July 29, 2007July 3, 2008

The teams compete in a talent show where each team will have 3 people compete for them. The Gophers send Justin, Heather, and Trent and the Bass send DJ, Courtney, and Geoff. However, Bridgette accidentally destroys Courtney's violin and Geoff smashes his skateboard. Also, Heather makes her appearance as a mean player known when she reads Gwen's diary to the whole camp. In the end, Harold won the challenge for the Killer Bass when he showcased his great beatboxing skills. At the campfire ceremony, though it may appear like Heather would be voted off, Heather convinces Lindsay and Beth (who are in her alliance), Izzy (who was just insane), and Owen (bribed with a piece of cake) to vote for Justin, making him be voted off instead.

6"The Sucky Outdoors"August 5, 2007July 10, 2008

An overnight camping trip into the woods brings out the crazy in Izzy. She wears a bear costume to play a joke on her teammates, but ends up attracting a real grizzly with a crush on her. The bear attacks and the Gophers are forced to spend the entire night up in a tree. The Bass also have a sleepless night after Duncan tells a horror story by the fire and Bridgette accidentally burns down their tent. Katie and Sadie get separated from their team in the woods and spend the night in a cave after having a huge fight with each other. Courtney denies an alleged "cuddling" with Duncan. At the campfire ceremony, Katie gets voted off because she and Sadie made the Killer Bass lose when they arrived after everyone else, making the Screaming Gophers the first full team to fully arrive.

7"Phobia Factor"August 12, 2007July 17, 2008

The Screaming Gophers bring in some green jell-o and a gummy worm as a reward for winning the last challenge. This brings in a talk about every camper's biggest fear. Ironically, the next day, each camper is forced to face their worst fear. Gwen's trust in Trent falters when Trent accidentally leaves Gwen buried alive (her fear), but only to face his own fear of mimes (which he conquers). Courtney claims she's not afraid of anything, but then gets caught when she has to face the most outrageous stunt of them all: diving off a fifty feet tall trampoline into a pool of green jelly (Courtney is afraid of green jelly). Chris explains that she'll get double points if she does it, which would allow her team to win, but she doesn't have the urge to fall down into the tub, causing the Killer Bass to lose for the 2nd time in a row. At the campfire ceremony, Tyler gets voted off for being unable to conquer his fear of chickens.

8"Up The Creek"August 19, 2007July 24, 2008

The campers participate in a three-part canoe race to Boney Island, the Deadliest Place in Muskoka. Geoff tries to get closer to Bridgette while Cody hits on Gwen and gets literally hit for his trouble. Geoff then "sprains" his leg and has to be carried during the rest of the challenge. Izzy ends up spilling a secret to the Killer Bass about how to win the challenge even though Harold burned all the teams' paddles. Using Izzy's ideas, DJ swims while pushing all of the Killer Bass' rafts (conquering his fear of water) and helps the Killer Bass win. Cody sets Trent and Gwen up with each other on the boat ride back, making both Gwen and Trent happy. At the campfire ceremony, it was never found out who got more votes out of the campers: Lindsay or Izzy. However, Izzy ended up getting chased off by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), resulting in her being "voted off".

9"Paintball Deer Hunter"August 26, 2007July 31, 2008

The campers are split up into deer and hunters and each team has to go out and bag as many of the other team's deer as possible. Beth rebels against Heather after getting tired of her bossiness and Cody gets mauled by a bear. Owen tries to get DJ (who is acting like a deer), but later pays the price after he runs out of ammo and DJ pushes him off the 1,000 foot cliff. Duncan and Courtney's antlers from their deer costumes get tangled together and they're forced to be stuck together throughout the challenge. LeShawna and Beth start attacking Heather while the rest of the Killer Bass Hunters attack them. Because the Screaming Gophers have been the only team to be covered in paint, and some of them not being deer, the Killer Bass win for the 2nd time in a row. At the campfire ceremony, Cody gets voted off for being injured by the bear and not being useful to the team anymore; he nearly drowns in the lake after Beth accidentally pushes him off.

10"If You Can't Take The Heat..."September 2, 2007August 7, 2008
The two teams must make a three-course meal for judgment. The Killer Bass, led by Geoff, prepare an amazing Italian meal that impresses Chris. Things heat up between Duncan and Courtney's hate for each other, and Geoff and Bridgette grow closer. The Gophers, led by Heather because she called it, make the error of leaving Owen in charge of guarding the dinner they prepared as he eats the main course. Meanwhile, Duncan, Geoff and DJ try to teach Harold a lesson about leaving his underwear around the cabin. Heather loses her eyebrows and is then locked in the fridge when LeShawna tires of her complaining. After the low reviews on the Screaming Gophers' food due to Chris nearly choking to death, the Killer Bass win for the 3rd time in a row and get to go to a Five Star resort dinner. At the campfire ceremony, Beth gets voted off because she stole the tiki doll from Boney Island two episodes earlier, unknowingly cursing her team.
11"Who Can You Trust?"September 9, 2007August 14, 2008
Given the growing tensions on both teams, the campers are forced to be put through a trust test. They are put through three trust challenges including extreme rock climbing (Gwen and Heather for Gophers, DJ and Duncan for Bass), preparing a deadly blowfish dinner for their partner (Lindsay and Trent for Gophers, Geoff and Bridgette for Bass), a blind 'Reversed' William Tell shoot-off which consists of Blind Apple dart-throwing (Owen and LeShawna for Gophers, Courtney and Sadie for Bass), Blind Jellyfish Jump (Heather and Lindsay for Gophers, Bridgette and Harold for Bass), and finally a Blind Sled Hill Race (Gwen and LeShawna for Gophers, DJ and Geoff for Bass). Duncan gets a new bunny for DJ (after he is upset after the original bunny was eaten by a snake, which was eaten by an eagle, which was eaten by a shark) and DJ removes his blindfold for a quick moment to look, causing him to lose the challenge. Courtney feels that Duncan is a nice guy for giving DJ a new bunny, but he denies it. At the campfire ceremony, Sadie gets voted off because she knocked Courtney unconscious during the William Tell shoot off, even though LeShawna and Owen had won that challenge for the Gophers already. Katie returns to the Island to greet her newly-voted-off friend and they both head back to Playa De Losers making dolphin-like squeals.
12"Basic Straining"September 16, 2007August 21, 2008

The campers are sent to a boot camp, with Chef Hatchet as the sergeant. The only rule is that they keep going until everyone drops out and one camper is left standing. Courtney bonds with Duncan after he challenges her to break a rule, leading both of them to raid Chef Hatchet's fridge and steal all his dessert. Courtney realizes that she likes breaking the rules and falls for Duncan (who already had a crush on her), so the two kiss. The Screaming Gophers win after Gwen defeats Geoff in a a competition to see who can hang upside down from a tree the longest. At the campfire ceremony, Harold changes the votes to "Courtney", and Courtney is voted off to spite Duncan, since Duncan had pranked Harold throughout the episode.

13"X-treme Torture"September 23, 2007August 28, 2008
The campers are challenged to participate in an extreme sports challenge including Sofa Bed Skydiving, Mechanical Moose Rodeo Riding, and Seadoo Water-skiing on dry land. The winning team gets a multi-massage mobile shower. During breakfast, Chef finds a love note, and both Gwen and Bridgette think it is from their crushes. The two girls decide to find out just who it's from during the day's challenges, but are unsuccessful. During the last event, Heather accidentally distracts Harold when a low hanging branch rips off her shirt, revealing her breasts. Lindsay amazingly wins the last event due to her great water-skiing skills, giving the Gophers the win. At the campfire ceremony, Harold gets voted off for losing the water-skiing event. Before he leaves, he reveals he wrote the love note to LeShawna, and they kiss on the dock.
14"Brunch of Disgustingness"September 30, 2007September 4, 2008
The campers have reached the halfway point, so Chris and Chef pit the campers against each other in a battle of the sexes with no chance of elimination, but with a weekend cruise as the prize. They are challenged to an eating contest. Chef cooks up barely edible meals including his own chewed gum, live anchovy pizza, worm spaghetti and hangnail soup to name a few. The boys win after Owen defeats LeShawna in a contest to see who can drink the most cockroach juice.
15"No Pain, No Game"October 7, 2007September 11, 2008

The teams are officially dissolved. Chris has Eva and Izzy return to the island from "popular audience demand". It's every ruthless camper for themselves in a high stakes game of no pain, no game, where contestants must spin the wheel of misfortune and endure painful punishments to win a luxurious trailer that the winner of the challenge gets to bring home after the competition. LeShawna and Eva are the last ones, and LeShawna wins in a log rolling contest against Molotov, the bear. At the campfire ceremony, Eva gets voted off again because she scared everyone on the island, causing everyone to vote against her except herself (who voted against Heather) and Duncan (who also voted for Heather because he thinks she had something to do with Courtney's elimination).

16"Search And Do Not Destroy"October 14, 2007September 18, 2008

The campers set out on a scavenger hunt for keys to treasure chests, placed in ridiculously dangerous or disgusting places. Gwen kisses Trent early in the episode, but Heather sees them. Saying that they are dangerous because "boyfriend and girlfriend is just another word for alliance", Heather sets out to break them up. In order to do this, she tricks both Trent and Gwen by telling Trent that Gwen actually thinks his music is terrible and then kissing Trent on the Dock of Shame. Gwen ends up seeing them kiss and gets devastated. She tells LeShawna, who in turn tells everyone on the island to vote off Heather. However, Heather finds invincibility in her treasure chest, causing everyone to vote off Trent instead. Everyone finds out the truth at the end of the episode, and Gwen and Trent make up in the end. (However, Gwen seems to still be upset about this in the finale.)

17"Hide and Be Sneaky"October 21, 2007September 25, 2008

The campers play an old fashioned game of hide and seek, with Chef Hatchet as their seeker. Using his guerrilla tactics, super soaker water-gun, and hate for the campers, he hunts and hoses down the campers until there is only one remaining. Duncan sets up a secret guy alliance to overthrow the girls, who have a 6 to 4 advantage over them. Heather gets caught, but she finds DJ and Owen, causing her to gain invincibility. At the campfire ceremony, Bridgette gets voted off by DJ, Duncan and Owen due to her popularity. However, Geoff refused to vote Bridgette off, causing him to be kicked out of the boy's cabin for the night.

18"That's Off the Chain!"October 28, 2007October 2, 2008
The episode starts out with Gwen, Owen, Duncan, and DJ playing Frisbee. Geoff is crying over Bridgette being voted off and makes it known to the whole world. The campers are then challenged to compete in the Tour de Wawanakwa where they must not only race a treacherous Motor Cross Course, but also build their own bikes. LeShawna confesses that she never learned how to ride a bike, so Izzy takes her on a wild ride. The final people left in the race was Lindsay, Duncan, Owen, and Heather. Owen ends up getting his bike exploded and Duncan slips into oil, making it down to Lindsay and Heather. Before the race started, Heather told Lindsay to let her win the race and promised to save her from elimination, but Chris stated that whoever comes in last in the challenge was automatically eliminated. Lindsay took the lead during the race but stopped and let Heather win. Due to Duncan and Owen crashing out of the race, Lindsay was technically the second to finish out of two people (her and Heather), which means she came in last, thus getting herself eliminated. Heather didn't care that Lindsay was eliminated, so Lindsay questions why she isn't upset about that. Heather answers that question in a harsh way, so Lindsay ends up cursing her by swearing and sticking up the middle finger. (In the original version, she swore very loudly and stuck up her middle finger, which was all censored. In the US version, Lindsay simply calls her a mean, bossy bully to fill in the censored part.)
19"Hook, Line, and Screamer"November 4, 2007October 9, 2008

Chris and Chef are nowhere to be seen in this spooky episode. The campers watch a horror movie about the Escaped Psycho Killer With A Chainsaw And A Hook. They then see Chris and Chef secretly escaping the island, leaving behind a newspaper with the news that an Escaped Psycho Killer is on the loose in the woods. One by one, the campers disappear, unaware that this whole thing is just another challenge created by the show's producers with Chef disguised as the killer. No one knows, however, that there is actually a real psycho killer loose in the woods. Duncan faces off against the disguised Chef Hatchet but overpowers him and takes his chainsaw, thus winning a part of the challenge. Gwen faces The Real Psycho Killer, beats him, and also wins the challenge due to not being captured by Chef. At the campfire ceremony, DJ gets voted off because he freaked out the most, without even seeing the killer (seeing Heather in a face mask instead).

20"Wawanakwa Gone Wild!"November 11, 2007October 16, 2008
The campers are challenged to bag a beast. They have eight hours to trap a forest creature, but first they have to look in the creepy boathouse for hunting tools. The winner will receive a meal of all their favorite foods. Armed with nets, buckets, paper towels and a tranquilizer gun, they trek off in search of their furry forest critters. Gwen wins the challenge, though her meal is destroyed by Owen trying to catch his chipmunk. At the campfire ceremony, Izzy gets voted off again due to her harmful hunting skills that got Chef, Heather, and several other animals all shot instead of what she was really supposed to hunt.
21"Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon"November 18, 2007October 23, 2008
The campers are paired up in the most unholy alliances ever dreamed up by Chris (Heather and Owen, Gwen and Geoff, LeShawna and Duncan). All three teams are handcuffed together in a twisted version of a Triathlon which includes force feeding each other, a trip to Boney Island to return Beth's evil Tiki doll and creating a Totem Pole of Shame using carved wooden heads of their former team mates. Owen angrily quits the race when Heather insults Izzy, Gwen and Geoff become friends, and LeShawna throws a wooden head carving of Sadie's head at Chris for making fun of Duncan when he carves his and Courtney's initials inside a heart in the wooden carving of Courtney's head. At the campfire ceremony, Geoff gets voted off for his too-happy attitude.
22"Haute Camp-Ture / After the Dock of Shame"November 25, 2007October 30, 2008

In this special episode, the campers that were voted off the island are shown at a luxurious resort for plenty of relaxation. The voted-off campers reveal who they think deserves to win the prize money. Noah, Katie, and Sadie talk about the show itself by the pool bar, while Izzy does freaky stuff around them. Geoff and Bridgette kiss and date, while Ezekiel tries to get closer to Bridgette but does not succeed. Courtney hunts down Harold with a lamppost for rigging the votes against her. Cody and Trent talk about Gwen. Beth and Justin go to the spa. Eva works out. Lindsay tries to remember who Tyler is, and DJ tries to keep his pet Bunny out of harm's way. Chris shows up and reveals that the voted off campers will be deciding who gets eliminated that day. He ends up tricking everyone (including a nearby parrot, twice) into voting LeShawna off, despite everyone at the resort liking her.

23"Camp Castaways"December 2, 2007November 6, 2008

A torrential rainstorm washes away the cabins and the remaining campers wake up in the middle of Lake Leech with no idea where they are. Heather, Duncan and Gwen paddle the remains of their cabin to a nearby beach, but Owen stays trapped in the outhouse and talks to himself. The three campers on shore get unnerved by the spooky surroundings and they argue whether they’ve landed on a deserted island, drifted downstream from camp or are simply part of another one of Chris's twisted challenges. Meanwhile, Owen becomes temporarily insane from being alone, so he ends up making a new friend, Mr. Coconut. He later meets up with the other campers and helps them get back to civilization, along with the help of Mr. Coconut. At the campfire ceremony, Mr. Coconut gets voted off due to mentally destroying Owen.

24"Are We There, Yeti?"December 9, 2007November 13, 2008

The campers have a quite literal rude awakening when they wake up in the middle of the wilderness. Sergeant Chef is in charge of the challenge (due to Chris off hosting another show) and puts the four remaining campers through a grueling mission. They must find base camp with only a few supplies. The teams break into pairs (Duncan and Owen, Heather and Gwen), while one team leaves with the map and food, the other team is stuck with toilet paper and a compass. A cat and mouse game ensues as each team baits and traps the other, while both teams attempt to escape from a giant purple Sasquatch called Sasquatchinakwa. Owen ends up getting back to base camp first from smelling Chef’s sticky buns, but doesn’t touch home base itself. Gwen and Heather end up touching it instead, thus making Duncan and Owen lose. At the campfire ceremony, Duncan gets voted off by Chef simply because of the fact that Chef doesn't like him.

25"I Triple Dog Dare You!"December 16, 2007November 20, 2008
In the semi-final round, the three remaining campers are forced to play a game of I Triple Dog Dare You!, a twisted version of "spin the bottle meets truth or dare." Their former campers came up with the sickest, twisted, cruelest dares they could think of to inflict humiliation. Dares include licking Owen's armpit, wrestling an alligator, drinking out of a communal toilet and giving a "purple nurple" to a grizzly bear. Gwen and Owen team up (Owen giving Gwen 10 of his 20 freebies in exchange for Gwen promising to split her winnings or buy him a box of doughnuts depending on who wins), and force all of the grossest dares on Heather. In the end, it is this challenge that finally gets Heather eliminated after she refuses to get her head shaved by Chef by kicking the razor out of his hand. She ends up getting it shaved anyways because of the razor landing on her hair, thus getting bad karma from Lindsay, since she made the dare.
26"TDI Rundown"January 4, 2008December 4, 2008
Chris reviews Season 1 of TDI and shows auditions of the contestants. There is also a music video featuring all of the TDI Campers at the end with special colors to the pictures changing and sound effects from past cartoons.
27"The Very Last Episode, Really!"January 4, 2008December 11, 2008

It's the finals and there's a surprise in store for the last two competitors (Gwen and Owen). All the former teammates have been invited back to watch the last challenge - a long distance "Rejected Olympic" run. Everyone except LeShawna, Eva, Cody and Trent want Owen to win, since he’ll throw a wild party for everyone if he wins. For the run, Gwen wore a chicken hat, and Owen wore a cow hat. For the first part of the run, Gwen and Owen must retrieve a flag from a pole. Owen has difficulty climbing because he was very heavy, so Geoff, Heather and Izzy help him. Gwen also had a rough time climbing up her pole because Heather made it slippery by rubbing grease on it. While they were retrieving the flags, Chris had to test the second part. He made an intern (a random draw from the 22 high scorers on Total Drama Interactive) cross a ravine on a long board of wood. But by making one false move, he fell down the ravine into the shark-infested water, getting eaten by sharks. Gwen and Owen made it to the ravine and had to grab an eagle's egg and make it across the board of wood. Heather tries distracting Gwen with Justin, but it also affects Owen. Trent has to tell Gwen (and eventually, Owen) to snap out of it. After crossing through the ravine, they had to run to the finish line. Owen was forced to go to the confession cam to dump his feces due to eating a laxative muffin he had eaten earlier (Heather had made it for Gwen, but Owen had wanted it instead). Trent carried a boulder the entire time to prove his love to Gwen. Since it looked like Owen was easily going to lose, Lindsay and Izzy make brownies for Owen. When Owen picked up the scent of brownies, he sped up, allowing him to speed past Gwen and win the challenge. After winning the $100,000, the guys throw Chris in the water, then chase Chef around the island.

NOTE: In Norway, Rome and Denmark there is an alternate ending, where Gwen turns out to be the winner.

Special"Total, Drama, Drama, Drama, Drama Island"November 29, 2008December 18, 2008

The 22 campers are resting at Playa De Losers (Spanish for "Beach of Losers")when Chris and Chef arrive to give Owen the choice of either keeping his one hundred thousand dollar check, or compete for a suitcase of a million dollars. Owen chooses to compete for the million, and all the campers are given the chance to win the money. The objective is to find the suitcase somewhere on the island. Everyone makes alliances to split the money and the suitcase travels from group to group.

After the case has been held and stumbled upon by every group, Courtney stumbles onto a strange painted forest background and discovers TDI has been held close to civilization the whole time. By this time she becomes enraged and finds an intern that has a hot air balloon and steals it to get to the campgrounds to try and "get Chris" because of what she just discovered. With this stolen hot air balloon, Courtney, along with Owen, Cody, DJ, Tyler, a grizzly bear, and the million dollar case drift to camp. LeShawna had also stolen a tractor and drives after Heather and Harold. This causes Heather, Harold, and LeShawna to crash into the water. Back at the parachute, the boys' alliance had the million dollar case, but Courtney believed she deserved it for getting everyone into the camp. As these five were arguing over who gets the money, the balloon was drifting close to a platform where Katie, Sadie, Geoff, and Bridgette were standing. These four ended up on the suspended platform because of a moose chasing after them, and it eventually starts to chase after Duncan, who fools it. While the hot air balloon almost hits the platform, Cody tells the boys, who have the case, that they need to jump to survive. Landing on the platform, the boys notice that Courtney took the case while they were jumping. Unfortunately, the bear was still in the hot air balloon causing Courtney to jump off onto the platform where Courtney, Cody, DJ, Owen, Tyler, Katie, Sadie, Geoff and Bridgette were fighting over the case. From Gwen and Trent's alliance, and out of nowhere, LeShawna came up to the platform to get the case from Courtney and the others. Since the case slipped from Courtney's hands, it landed in the area where Lindsay's team of Ezekiel, Beth, and herself, were walking to. As Lindsay almost doesn't even notice, she picks it up, but DOES notice from out of nowhere Justin got the keys to a plane (by using his hotness to woo Chef over) and skydives to Lindsay. Ezekiel and Beth get covered by his parachute, so they couldn't protect Lindsay from GIVING the case to Justin. As Lindsay gives the case away, due to her dim-wittiness, Justin's plane becomes free to move anywhere since he isn't piloting it. The plane crashes into the suspended platform where Courtney, LeShawna, Katie, Sadie, Geoff, Bridgette, Cody, Owen, DJ, and Tyler are standing. Justin, then, tries to walk back to the campgrounds to declare victory. Due to a previous attack of beauty that Justin did on Izzy's alliance (Izzy, Noah, and Eva), she has held a grudge and promised to herself that she will the case away from Justin. Izzy saw Justin in her sights and told Noah and Eva to dump buckets of fish-water whenever they see him in their sights. Being successful in this, Izzy dumps a third bucket on him and sticks it on his head and steals the case back. While Izzy was running to campgrounds to declare victory, she trips and the case falls out of her hands. At this time, the suspended platform has broken in half making Katie, Sadie, Cody, Tyler, and Courtney fall in a pool below. Though DJ, LeShawna, Owen, DJ, Geoff, and Bridgette remain on the platform and slide down at super speed, they actually head for the case that Izzy dropped. While those six were sliding towards the case, Gwen and Trent sees the case tumble right past them and run towards it. Then Lindsay and Beth try to run after Gwen and Trent, who are running after the case. Duncan, who is also after the case, and who upset the moose, has been thrown into the lake. The platform is still going super speed towards the case and it catches hold of Justin's parachute causing him to go super speed with the platform. As Izzy gets up and tries to get the case, she storms ahead of Justin and the platform of campers and she, along with Gwen, Trent, Lindsay, and Beth get caught on the platform with LeShawna and the others, and collides into the water with Heather and Harold, who were trying to get out of the water from a previous attack by LeShawna. The platform holding LeShawna, Owen, DJ, Geoff, and Bridgette; Izzy, Justin, Lindsay, Beth, Gwen, Trent, Heather, and Harold collides into the platform, making them all crash into the water. Next, the unthinkable happens. After all the work from trying to get the case, the case was eaten by a shark. Then, an upset Chris comes out to say that since they all couldn't win, they all officially tied, and that they will have an equal opportunity to win another million dollars in Season 2 of Total Drama Island, which is entitled Total Drama Action. As for the remaining eight campers, Chris told them that their challenges end there, and will watch all of TDA from the sidelines.

  • Note: Courtney sues the Total Drama network for not qualifying for Total Drama Action and for what the staff of Total Drama Action had did to her over the past months. Although she did not technically qualify for participation in the sequel, she has been proven to join the remaining cast-mates of TDA in a later episode entitled "Ocean's Eight - Or Nine"[5].

1"Monster Cash"January 11, 2009June 11, 2009

The 14 cast mates arrive to a rough start, at the film studio back lot to meet Chris McClean, where he tells them about the modificatins and changes from Total Drama Island to Total Drama Action. He then rushed them off to the "action scene" for their first challenge: To get to the actor's trailers without being attacked by the animatronic monster being controlled by Chef Hatchet.

E-Scope was the first to get captured because of her not paying attention to Owen's warnings about the monster being right behind her. It was revealed, then, that the losers of this challenge were to be dumped in a blow-up bouncy house. After E-Scope's elimination, the remaining cast-mates began to drift from each other.
Unmercifully making out in the Makeup Confessional, Geoff and Bridgette were the next to be eliminated by being distracted by each other.
After finding Harold, both he and LeShawna were caught by the monster around the beach area.
Justin was next to go after getting surprised by the monster. He also got a warm welcome by Geoff, Bridgette, LeShawna, and Harold when they began to stare at him after coming into the bouncy room.
Later, around the action scene trailers, both Lindsay and Heather were caught by the monster in plain sight.
With only DJ, Owen, Gwen, Trent, Duncan, and Beth left, DJ, Trent, Gwen, and Beth were caught because they stopped in their tracks to observe the "fakeness" of the film lot.
Hiding behind a fake car, Owen and Duncan gloat about how everyone else was caught. During the gloating, Duncan gets caught since he was cornered, though surprisingly, the monster (Chef), did not capture Owen.

Owen, who took almost 11 hours to get to the actor's trailers, wins the first challenge. Chris then tells the group to go to the craft services tent (mess hall) for the second challenge. Having now split into guys vs. girls, the next part of the challenge was supposed to be a hunt to find a key hidden in a fake food props buffet, where the winner would first pick of the actor trailers, though Owen mistakes it for a speed-eating contest. He goes and eats almost everything on the buffet and burps up the hidden key, giving the guys the challenge win, also giving Owen the opportunity to choose the cast trailer for the boys. Due to a misconception, the monster, controlled by Chef Hatchet, squishes one of the two trailers. This trailer also happens to be the trailer that Owen picks to stay in (though the remaining trailer that the girls have to sleep in also gets squished by accident). After both trailers have been repaired, the guys and girls work on their arrangements of who sleeps where (in the guys case) and who sleeps with or next to Heather (in the girls case). Though, due to an "alleged" miscalculation, Heather ends up getting two beds to herself, making it so no one would have to sleep near her.

2"Alien Resurreggtion"January 18, 2009June 18, 2009

This episode basically picks up the exact next day from episode 1, as Owen still has some "internal bodily" problems after eating fake food props from the last challenge. This episode also triggers and sparks the soon conflict between bad boy Duncan and mysterious Trent; as Duncan begins to talk and flirt with Gwen more and more, leaving Trent feeling a little bitter. The 14 cast-mates eat as Chris tells them of their next genre and challenge: finding and bringing alien eggs back to home base (the film lot), without getting hit by the "mother alien"'s (Chef Hatchet in disguise) paint balls. The teens were then sent to an even more abandoned part of the film lot to find these alien eggs. The cast tried to use their GPS units to locate the eggs when they were stumped by some weird sucking noise. While some thought it was Chris, others thought it was Chef Hatchet. Either way, everyone was scared stiff until Beth, the brave heroine in disguise, marches towards the sucking noise, and looked to see it was Bridgette and Geoff making out even more than usual. After everyone gets rounded up together, they get stumped again about which way to go when an echoing "DANGER" warning is heard throughout the film lot. Everyone had their own way of interpreting which way to go, so temporary teams are made during this challenge:

  • Gwen, Trent, DJ, and Duncan
  • Lindsay, LeShawna, Beth, and Justin
  • E-Scope, Heather, Harold, and Owen
  • Geoff and Bridgette

In E-Scope's group, Harold was first to go when he was surprised by Chef Hatchet from behind, and was hit immediately. Owen believed it was finally time to "do his business", and actually pleaded Chef to shoot a paintball at him, so he could go to the bathroom. With only E-Scope and Heather left, E-Scope surprises both Chef and Heather by pulling out her very own paintball gun, declaring war on Chef. As Chef and E-Scope have their paintball fight, Heather manages to get away, and E-Scope somehow loses by not having her guard up when dodging earlier paintballs. Later, Geoff & Bridgette were shot when not looking, but instead, making out. Even though Heather did get away, Chef Hatchet caught up to her, and got revenge on her for last season when she put laxatives in his lunch. When Chef shot the defenseless girl, her wig went flying and landed on a holed floor, where it slid down into one of the holes and was lost forever. Lindsay's entire team was doused with paint-ball concentrate from above (not necessarily by Chef's paintball gun), eliminating them. Later, Gwen's team completed the first part of the challenge by finding alien eggs, though still having to get to home base, DJ and Duncan were shot from behind, leaving Gwen and Trent to be the only ones who finish. This gave them the power to decide the teams. However, this also meant they would be competing against each other on the two teams. Chris then reveals that two people will be eliminated that night. At the Gilded Chris Ceremony, Geoff and Bridgette are voted off (with the new voting devices), due to their excessive amount of time spent making out and not paying attention to anything but each other.

3"Riot On Set"January 25, 2009June 25, 2009

The 12 cast-mates report to the "acting" scene of the set and are faced with their next challenge: building a set and dressing up as fictional characters to star in their own man-made movie. The catch to doing this is what the cast mates have to do to win: it is announced that the movie they make has to make Chef Hatchet cry when watching the movie. By this time, the teams have been made and chosen. Harold, Heather, DJ, LeShawna, Duncan, and leader Gwen were now called the Screaming Gaffers. While Izzy, Owen, Beth, Justin, Lindsay, and leader Trent, were now called the Killer Grips. While the cast-mates decide on who will play which part, Chef Hatchet grabbed DJ (claiming to say that he "sees a lot of himself in DJ"), and tried to make a non-refusing illegal alliance with him. Chef Hatchet tries to toughen DJ up in exchange for half of his winnings (if he even wins). The movies that each team made only actually turned out to be a scene of that part of the movie. For the Screaming Gaffers, Duncan was the actor; Izzy was the actress for the Killer Grips. Due to a technicality and inconvience, Izzy, who was supposed to be a grandmother, got Duncan's script, which was of a gangster, and vice-versa. Duncan, of the Screaming Gaffers, impressed everyone with his hidden acting skills of being a depressed and possibly dying grandparent. At this point, everyone, including Chef and Chris are sniffling and crying over what has happened making Duncan and the Screaming Gaffers win and receive invincibility. At the Gilded Chris Ceremony, it was Izzy who was voted off due to her losing the acting challenge so easily, her craziness, and because the other contestants became tired of her insistence on everyone calling her "E-Scope" instead of her actual name.

4"Beach Blanket Bogus"February 1, 2009July 2, 2009

The 11 castmates head off to a set of a surfing movie, and is told they will have 2 challenges: Chris has told the cast-mates that they will be going to the beach, and to bring their bathing suits. Ironically, the first challenge is to stay on a mechanical surf board inside a freezing room as long as posible. Chris, then tells them that they will eventually go to the beach. Not believing him, the cast-mates kept listening to find out that the team with the winner of the first challenge gets a 30 minute head start on the second challenge. Having a hard time to do this challenge in bathing suits and inside a freezing room, most of the cast-mates seen doing their challenge (i.e. Lindsay, Harold, Justin, LeShawna, Gwen, and Owen) were off of the surfboard in under a few minutes. Being one of the last cast-mates to get on the mechanical surfboard, Duncan, with confidence, stayed on longer than the other cast-mates. Seeing this and Duncan's over-confidence, Chris starts to throw things at Duncan, including props, tables, and even Lindsay. Being on the mechanical surfboard the longest, Duncan's team, the Screaming Gaffers, won the 30 minute head start for the second challenge: a prop sand-castle building contest. The cast then heads off to the TDI set, Camp Wawanakwa, for the challenge. Around this time, Trent, leader of the Killer Grips, began to become obsessed with Gwen, and then, the number 9. On to the second challenge, the Killer Grips had just gotten started, when on the Screaming Gaffers, thanks to Harold, their sandcaste was nearing completion. As Beth, from the Killer Grips, went on and on about her friendship bracelets, she found an actual use for them concerning the challenge. She had her entire team pitch in on making their castle, and she used her friendship bracelets as props for them. The Killer Grips did win this challenge due to Harold and the Screaming Gaffers' sandcastle tumbling down from seagulls. The challenge then went off into a tie breaker: an "anything-goes", ol' school dance contest. The teams each chose a person from their team to dance in a freestyle jam to win the challenge. The Screaming Gaffers chose lively LeShawna, and the Killer Grips chose the mysterious Trent. As Trent remembered from what Owen and Gwen told him in the past, he thought of Gwen saying how much she loves to win. While LeShawna was freestyling everywhere, Trent started to fake his part of the dance, and fall right in front of Chris and Gwen's feet. Since Trent basically threw the competition for the Killer Grips, LeShawna and her "skills" won the entire challenge for the Screaming Gaffers.

5"3:10 to Crazytown (Canada)/The Wacky Wild West (US)"February 8, 2009July 9, 2009

The very hot and sweaty 11 castmates head to the "wild west" for their next set of challenges. Gwen is surprised to be getting a headcold during one of the hottest days she has experienced. As Trent still has an obsession over the number nine, he tries to "woo" Gwen over by helping her through this difficulty. With guns loaded with "blanks", Chris comes to tell the campers their first challenge: "mounting their steed" (getting on their horse) by jumping off a platform, trying to land on it. The most successful campers of a team win the challenge. Exposed to the humidity, LeShawna's hair frizzes out to a perfectly puffed afro. Gwen (by sneezing off the platform), Harold (by jumping and landing in a "bad position for a male"), and Duncan (by jumping and landing on Harold) of The Screaming Gaffers; and Owen (by jumping and landing on the ground because the horse moved [but got on the horse, which caused for rules to be bent]), Lindsay, and Beth (by jumping together) of The Killer Grips all successfully jumped and landed on the horse below, which caused a 3 to 3 tie. The next challenge was supposed to be a western target practice on the cast-mates, but Owen drank the water that was going to be used as ammunition against the cast-mates. So, Chris thought quickly to make another second tie-braking challenge: an old-fashioned cow roping. The Killer Grips were to be cowboys and cowgirls, and The Screaming Gaffers were to be the cows. If the cowboys and cowgirls rope the cattle, The Killer Grips win, but if the cattle somehow rope the cowboys and cowgirls, The Screaming Gaffers win. In the end, The Screaming Gaffers find extra rope, and Gwen gets Lindsay, Duncan gets Trent, LeShawna ropes Beth, and Harold gets Justin, giving the win and invicinibility to The Screaming Gaffers. (as for Owen, he was too out-of-breath to move from previously chasing Harold). Later, Gwen notices what Trent has been trying to do to "help" her win. She tells Trent that she does not want to win by cheating, and breaks up with him. Hearing all of this about what Trent has been doing, a furious Justin confronts Gwen and orders her to tell everything to The Killer Grips that she just told their captain. The Killer Grips, then find out that their captain has been throwing challenges to help the other team win. At the Gilded Chris Ceremony, it was Trent who got voted off due to his team finding out that he had been throwing challenges to help Gwen and The Screaming Gaffers win. As Trent leaves, Chris says "3:10 to Crazytown"

6"The Aftermath: I"February 15, 2009July 16, 2009

The 8 non-participating and eliminated contestants all appear on a talk show, hosted by Geoff and Bridgette. This episode is comprised of non-participating and eliminated contestants of Total Drama Action, sneak peek clips of upcoming episodes, never-before-seen clips not shown during regular showtime, fictional fan e-mails and webcasts, bloopers, games [like "Truth or Hammer" (similar to "Truth or Lie" only that the "Lie" gets changed to where if the player does lie, a hammer while swing and smash them), and "That's Gonna Leave a Mark and more. Geoff and Bridgette talk about their time on Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action. They also reminisice of Total Drama Action's non-participating contestents [inculding Cody (still trying to be "cool"), Noah (still very quiet and uncaring), Ezekiel (still picking his nose), Eva (still looking angry as ever), Katie and Sadie (still together), Courtney (still in the process of suing the Total Drama Series), and Tyler (still looking cool and needing to tell Lindsay where he is)]. The host and hostess then talk about the two cast-mates who have been kicked off Total Drama Action, Izzy and Trent. The gang then recaps on Izzy's time on Total Drama Action, and later, brings her out to talk. Izzy then comes to talk about her latest obsession with crackers, along with telling the world of her previous boyfriend, "Graham" (somewhat short for Graham Cracker). She then reveals a secret that Chef Hatchet came with his illegal alliance to help Izzy win before consulting DJ. After finishing with Izzy, the hosts move to Trent. Trent finds out, and is devestated, especially being the last one to know, that Gwen stabbed Trent in the back by telling his team to vote him off during a Gilded Chris Ceremony. Geoff and Bridgette began to argue over how and why Trent was kicked off on Total Drama Island, and Geoff ends up saying the wrong thing [i.e. Telling the world (including Bridgette) that Heather was the "hottest chick on the show"]. Geoff and Bridgette, along with the non-participating contestants talk about which side, in Gwen or Trent's defense, to take. The two end up taking opposing sides and start to argue on why the other was right about which person. Trent comes out to talk about the experience he had on Total Drama Action with Gwen, and reminisices on what he "thought" about Duncan. Courtney finds out about "Gwen and Duncan" and gets slightly angered. He also reveals a secret about his number nine obsession. He says that Duncan only assumed his logic when the real reason was that he had a toy train that he was very close to, given to from his grandfather, whom he was also close to. The train had ten wheels, and before Trent's grandfather died, a wheel fell off the train, making the train only have nine wheels. Chris McClean and Eva, then try to sabotage the show in their own special way (i.e. Chris disguised himself as Sasquatchinakwa and jealously told Geoff and Bridgette off for having their own show. Eva disguised her voice as a fan who wanted to be on "Team Eva", though it didn't last long, since the voice disguise wore off). Bloopers were later shown. Later, it was Trent's love song of what happened between him and Gwen, that brought almost everyone to tears, and Bridgette and Geoff back together. For almost the rest of the entire episode, Geoff and Bridgette spent the remaining time making out.

7"The Chefshank Redemption"April 5, 2009July 23, 2009

The remaining 10 castmates are having a peaceful sleep, until they were awakened by an ear-shattering bullhorn noise. In each trailer, neither team could get out of the main door for some unknown reason. Each decided to use their skill in their own special way. Duncan, Harold, and Justin used Owen as a battering ram to get the boys' door open (but failed when the door automatically opened right when they were about to make impact). Claustrophobic Gwen from the girls' trailer started to freak out in an enclosed space, and asked Heather, the skinniest of the girls, to climb up the vent to try unlocking the door from the outside, and was successful. Chef, still trying to toughen up DJ, made him eat some "slop" that was supposed to strengthen him from the inside out. With 9 of the 10 remaining campers, Chris and the cast-mates head to "prison", where he told them of their first challenge: the prison "chow-llenge". Each team was to chose a cast-mate from the opposing team to be locked inside a cage while the remaining members of each team prepare a dish using ANY "ingredient" that they wanted. Whichever cast-mate holds down the food longest wins a golden shovel for the next challenge; the losing team gets spoons for each member. This baffled all of the cast-mates. The Screaming Gaffers chose Lindsay (because of a past experience Lindsay had within solitary seclusion). The Killer Grips chose Gwen (because she still "owed" the Grips for what she had a part of). DJ of the Screaming Gaffers added his mother's re-occurring famous spice to this mix for Lindsay. The foods were ready to be served. Gwen could barely hold down The Killer Grips' concoction, while, courtesy of the famous spice, Lindsay had no problem eating her dish, making it known that the spice made the dish better. While Gwen was eating her dish, she coughed up Beth's retainer (that somehow fell into the concoction while it was being made). Without even washing it, Beth put it back in her mouth; which caused Lindsay to throw up from the sight, making The Screaming Gaffers the winners of the first challenge. Throughout these challenges, Heather started to notice Gwen's strange behavior towards The Grips. Later, DJ goes to Chef Hatchet to take pride in his challenge win, and Chef Hatchet immediately shunned him, but actually opens up for one of the first times to DJ.
Chris directs the remaining cast-mates to the second challenge: escaping from the Total Drama Action jail-cells. Unlike the first challenge, Chris told the cast-mates that this would be the challenge to determine who wins invincibility. Each team was to have one cast-mate push a rolling laundry basket through an obstacle course, with the other teammates inside it, towards a wall, where the teams must use their tools (shovel or spoons) to dig a hole upwards toward the boxcars' finish line. Gwen nominated herself to push the cart since she still "owed" The Grips some kind of advantage. The Grips wanted to make sure the competition seems fair (so The Gaffers wouldn't notice the huge advantage they would have had if they chose Owen) so they chose Lindsay. Gwen rockets from the starting line and Lindsay has trouble pushing Owen and The Killer Grips. Gwen then faked a "cramp" problem to help Lindsay pull ahead. At the wall, The Grips arrived first and started to use their spoons to tunnel through. LeShawna, of The Screaming Gaffers, came right after them and started using the shovel. As LeShawna started to get ahead, Gwen faked a claustrophobia panic attack, stole the shovel from LeShawna, and shattered it on Harold's head, causing him to pass out, leaving no way but their hands to tunnel through the dirt. During this time, in the make-up confessional, it was confirmed that Harold had a "crush" on Heather, LeShawna, and Gwen after the incident. As they were about to start, Izzy came out of nowhere and claimed to have been living underground, and also claimed to know a shortcut out of the tunnel. The Gaffers did follow her, only to find that The Grips had already won the challenge, courtesy of Lindsay and Beth. The Killer Grips notice Izzy's return as she exclaimed to both Chris and The Grips that they voted off E-Scope, technically making Izzy (which will be the name she will be referred as) still in the competition. Back at the set, The Killer Grips bask in their victory, seeing Owen and Izzy reunited, while the Gaffers attend their first ceremony. At the Gilded Chris Ceremony, it was Gwen who got "voted off" for being a "stickler" to her good word by throwing the challenge for The Grips, thus, basically eliminating herself.

8"One Flu Over The Cuckoos"April 12, 2009July 30, 2009

The 10 castmates are returning from their previous challenge, with Izzy saying what parts of the set she remembers. They soon discover that their doors to their trailers are locked, Chris then pulls up and hands them textbooks on medical care. After giving them twenty orders of pizza, he says memorize everything in them by morning. The cast mates then start studying (though Justin is too distracted by his skin care and Izzy and Owen are too distracted by each other). Meanwhile DJ and Chef are working on making more pizza (with DJ adding his mother's ingredient). Later Duncan and LeShawna give up studying and walk out. LeShawna (who just lost her major ally Gwen) then tells Duncan they should form an alliance with Harold to counter Gwen (to which Duncan snickers). The next morning, the challenge begins, which is to have a castmate retrieve pieces of dead body parts in a pool and bring them back to life with lighting (similar to Frankenstein). Chris asks a medical question and Beth gets it right and goes first, only to discover there are electric eels in the pool (which Chris forgot to warn about). Beth is still able to retrieve a leg for her team. Gwen answers the next one and goes next and successfully gets an arm. The teams continue to build their bodies (which turn out to be Chris replicas), but the Gaffers face troubles as Duncan continues to bully Harold (which LeShawna breaks up). LeShawna attempts to call an alliance with the two, but Harold refuses. The two teams finish their bodies and are racing to get it up to the lighting, when Izzy notices a red sore on Owen. The challenge is soon halted as Chris dashes out and the cast mates believe Owen has a contagious and fatal disease. The cast mates quickly contain Owen in a plastic bubble when they notice DJ has a sore too. After containing him too, everyone but Duncan and LeShawna (who were the only one who didn't study) show signs of the illness. The two quickly race to get textbooks, only to discover the books are fake. They soon discover that Chef had drugged the pizza they ate with itching powder and the sores were only pepperoni slices. Upon learning the truth, Chris congratulates the cast mates for completing another challenge. He then reveals the winner gets a spa night with away from the set with their best friend. The Gaffers vote for LeShawna, who is crying saying she thought she was going to lose everyone. She then reveals to her friend that it was only an act to get her team to vote her away from the set. Chris explains if the team would be mad at her or not.

9"The Sand Witch Project"April 19, 2009August 6, 2009
The remaining 10 castmates are faced with their next challenge: a horror movie trilogy, the castmates are busy playing cards and soccer, when Chris makes them do a challenge where one castmates tries to scare another, where their scream is detected on the Scream-o-meter. The Screaming Gaffers win, due to the DJ and Chef Hatchet alliance. Then the Screaming Gaffers successfully complete the second part of the challenge, to scare the Killer Grips, after two failures, both because of Lindsay trying to be a leader, saying that the Ghostmeters aren't reading anything, the first time, Harold used his "magic tricks" to fake a ghost hiding Duncan's soccerball under a sheet. The second time, Duncan pouring ketchup on the walls making it look like blood. DJ gets flashbacks mistaking Heather for his mom being disappointed for him cheating. Around this time, DJ begins to feel a bit guilty about his alliance with Chef and starts to wonder if it's even worth it. The scene then flashes to the Gilded Chris Ceremony, either Lindsay or Justin was about to get the last trophy. Realizing that he's almost about to cost a Killer Grip their chance at $1 million from winning a challenge "dirtily", DJ rushes to the Gilded Chris Ceremony, and confesses to Chris, The Killer Grips, and The Screaming Gaffers (treading behind him, trying to figure out what was wrong) everything about the alliance that he and Chef formed. At the Gilded Chris Ceremony, despite the protest of the other castmates, especially Duncan Justin and Owen, who tried to convince him to stay, DJ voted himself off, therefore trying to clear his guilt and shame over the illegal alliance by quitting the competition.

10"Masters Of Disasters"April 26, 2009August 13, 2009

The 9 remaning ucastmates participate in another challenge. The contestants are forced into obstacle courses with natural disasters within them such as earthquakes, "volcano lava", and floods (Also, Chef throws miscellaneous objects such as footballs and blenders at the campers). When the 1st challenge starts, the Gaffers made it to the finish line, however Owen broke his jaw during the first challenge and his injury made the Grips automatically win the first challenge, and Owen was drove off to the hospital in between the challenges. Then in the 2nd challenge, the contestants are forced into a submarine with water leaking into the submarine. However, when the water level got to high, Chris wanted the contestants to evacuate the challenge due to the contestants can die, but chef accidentally broke the lever. However, Harold helped the Gaffers win the challenge by cracking a code to a locked up exit, using the straws he collected earlier as a scuba. At the end, the Gaffers were given the reward oppertunity to have a free vacation on top of an active volcanoe, but they refused the reward, and instead got pop and chips. Then before the episode ended, Owen returned to the set where he will join the Grips for eating. Now, Owen looks as if he will not be useful in the challenges anymore. The pressure goes on.

*Note: This is a non-elimation episode, meaning no one is eliminated or voted off. Also, the preview of the next episode was not aired after the previous one ends, but it is shown on Teletoon.com
11"Full Metal Drama"May 3, 2009August 20, 2009

The 9 remaining contestants compete in a war-themed challenge. The contestants' 1st challenge was simple: they all have to jump out of an airplane, but when they jumped out th€ey find out that the airplane was never really in the air only 50ft. Then they have to do harder challenges but the selfishness, thoughtlessness and foolishness of all the castmates (except Beth) sabotaged both teams. On the Grips side, Owen was having difficulty with having his jaw wired shut (as he couldn't chew solid food), hindering the Grips; Justin was more concerned with how he looked messing up the 2nd challenge (angering Lindsay and Beth); Lindsay "promoted" herself to admiral and became way too bossy again costing the team. Duncan (for the Gaffers) proved to be an expert on explosives. Izzy (for the Grips) however started calling herself "Explosivo" (insisting that everyone call her that) and went too far with the explosives (again) costing the Grips the challenge. Owen difficulties got worse as the "blinderized" food he swallowed caused the return of the "internal bodily" problems from Episode 2; Chef, as atonement for his "bad behavior", made him a "bran smoothie" to help but he wouldn't drink it. Justin's hotness powers no longer work on Lindsay or Beth anymore. Justin asked Explosivo if he was hot and she said no so Justin voted for Explosivo to get voted off out of anger. Meanwhile, The Screaming Gaffers found out that LeShawna lied to them in Episode 8 and would not forgive her. To make matters worse she drank the "bran smoothie" Chef made for Owen and began passing gas throughout the final challenge. Duncan and Harold were trying equally as hard to get a win for their team, but were working against each other; Heather, of course, complained about the others and ran out when LaShawna started passing gas. Although all four team members started arguing with each other, in the end the Gaffers won despite themselves. Duncan and Harold won it for the team (by Luck) but Duncan, surprisingly, gave all the credit to Harold, who then gave the credit to the whole team. Later at the Gilded Chris Ceremony, it is Izzy (Explosivo) who is eliminated, because she lost the challenge for the Grips (and because Justin convinced Lindsay and Beth to help vote her off when he "gained" some of his "powers" back). This is the 3rd time Justin escaped being eliminated, as Lindsay and Beth originally was going to vote him off, just as Owen and Izzy did. Izzy may still return, because she got eliminated as "Explosivo."

12"The Aftermath: II"May 10, 2009August 27, 2009

Geoff and Bridgette host another TDA Aftermath show; they talk with Gwen and DJ about their time on TDA. Everyone seems to hate Gwen now, Trent has gotten a lot of fan mail since his break-up with Gwen, and Courtney is angered at Gwen for being a little to close to Duncan so she leaves calling her lawyer. There is a clip of Gwen and Duncan wrestling and they fall on each other, and Geoff makes her look worse by saying how close her and Duncan's lips were, and continuely telling bad things about her after every sentence. Courtney angrily tells Gwen that she thinks Gwen has her "goth girl hooks" in Duncan, and storms off to talk to her lawyer. DJ tries to explain his "illegal alliance" with Chef, but Geoff once again tries to make him look bad just as he does Gwen. It doesn't work on DJ as much, as "Mama DJ" has made an appearance and throws food at Geoff to stop from humiliating her son any further. Now everyone is turning on Geoff as well, as he's beginning to act similar to Chris Mclean, Heather, and Justin. It is than found out that Izzy has just been a cut-out standee all along and she swings onto stage to be interviewed but is chased by and outsmarts security (Chef in a security outfit) and runs off stage. During this stunt she refers to herself as "Esquire" hinting a possible return as a contestant in a later episode of TDA. It is later revealed that Bridgette thinks that Geoff has let being on T.V., and the ratings, go to his head, and sends a question to Gwen saying that Geoff thinks he's 'Captain Hollywood' and want's to know what she should do about it; but Bridgette attempts to deny it was from her, but fails. Note: This marks they first time swearing has been used on TDA. It was used when Chef Gordan said "But there's some stupid ******* ingredient I can't ******* figure out! *******!" this was continuing when they ended the interuption. Note #2: Truth or Hammer got changed to Truth or Anvil.

The teams have to stage a bank heist for their challenge, and blow a safe, The Killer Grips' team member in the safe is Owen, and the Killer Grips waft in some food smells to get Owen to break out of the safe on his own, but he goes crazy looking for food afterwards. The teller at the bank is Courtney, who won a lawsuit against the producers and is also Duncan's lady love, to go on the show and she goes up against the Screaming Gaffers and Duncan. Since she is still upset with his close friendship with Gwen, the couple's reunion won't be a happy one.
