Comment

Michael Jackson does not live in Montecito. He lives in Santa Ynez, which is 30 miles north of Montecito on the other side of Santa Barbara county.

Yup, I think if he lived here I'd know it. Thanks for pointing it out. I took his name out. Antandrus 06:12, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Incorperated City?

No, Montecito is not an incorperated city, but it is an unincorperated area near SB.

Tipper but not Al?

The list of notable residents includes Tipper Gore, but the news article cited says Al Gore. Geoffrey.landis (talk) 02:20, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They separated in 2010; Tipper lives here (I think) (e.g. [1]) while Al lives elsewhere, probably Tennessee. Antandrus (talk) 02:41, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The current incarnation of this article reads like a promotional pamphlet from a Montecito PR board. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.181.135.135 (talk) 18:25, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What part in particular do you object to? Antandrus (talk) 19:03, 22 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to the list

I'm out of practice in editing. Could someone read this article about the birthday party coming on May 6? https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/meghan-markle-planning-low-key-birthday-party-archie-socal-harry-attends-coronation "While Prince Harry and the rest of the world watch the pomp and circumstance of King Charles III at his coronation at Westminster Abbey, Meghan Markle will be at home with their two young children giving Prince Archie a "low-key" birthday party on May 6, according to a report. [Report?] "It's going to be a low-key party at home," a source told People magazine this week. Harry and Meghan settled in Montecito, California, after they stepped down as senior royals in 2020. [Repeat: AFTER THEY STEPPED DOWN AS ROYALS IN 2020. That would be THREE years ago.] The source continued, "They have friends around them [Tom Cruise?] and Meghan's mom...." -- Charles Edwin Shipp ~~ ... Charles Edwin Shipp

If no one in UK or in Montecito wants to add them, I'm using old editing style now and can easily add them within the next few days. -- C.E.Shipp -- ~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:8001:B040:94:902A:3A6:59B9:CA66 (talk) 02:11, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Coronation day is tomorrow and Megyn Markle is still in Montecito. -- C.E.Shipp -- ~~
