Oculus

Hey, thanks for your comment at Oculus Quest. You might want to go back and sign it so other editors know who said it. Popcornfud (talk) 14:35, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Alert

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

User:Huldra, why are you placing this on my page? What have I done related to this? Seggallion (talk) 09:45, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You changed the decription on Church of Saint Anne, Jerusalem, from "East Jerusalem" to "the old city of Jerusalem". Now the latter might be more specific, but the former is more well know (as an area occupied since 1967). Not only shouldn't you have edited the article, but you also brok 1RR. Please self-revert, or risk going ending up at WP:AE, cheers, Huldra (talk) 20:41, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
User:Huldra, what is a self-revert, what is 1RR, and why shouldn't I edit the article? Seggallion (talk) 09:06, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I added partial Arbpia notices to that article. A self revert is a revert of your own edit, normally AI conflict articles are subject to a "no more than one revert in 24 hours" rule (1RR or 1R for short). Simplest thing is to wait till you have 500 edits before editing anything that might be AI related. Selfstudier (talk) 16:39, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
What Selfstudier said. And when you came across any unknown "wiki-lingo"; just put it into [[WP:]]. and it will (usually) direct you to the correct page.
So 1RR becomes WP:1RR; and
self-revert becomes WP:self-revert, cheers, Huldra (talk) 21:34, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

1RR

This revert undoes the actions of two editors and two edits, be so good as to self revert one of these edits. Selfstudier (talk) 17:31, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
