Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional (Puerto Rico)

It seems you are interested in this article, I have been considering raising it to GA since I worked with Ejercito Popular Boricua perhaps we can raise it now that we don't have to worry with nobody opposing Ramón Emeterio Betances. I kind of forgot to mention this but in case the Newsletter isn't complete and you don't know it yet, Tony nominated The Borinqueneers to GAC. - Caribbean~H.Q. 21:32, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will begin work with it tonight, hehe that was a close one :) - Caribbean~H.Q. 21:37, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think we can add a photo of Filiberto, if I get you a raw version of the logo can you work with it to get it to a better image quality, I don't know maybe with photoshop or something? - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:36, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Found the logo, it appears written by pencil, its on a background here. - Caribbean~H.Q. 03:44, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think we can nominate it to GAC and work with it while the nomination is up, I still haven't read all of the communiques they released, those things are really useful when working with the history of the group so perhaps I will add some more material while it gets reviewed. - Caribbean~H.Q. 00:12, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship

Hey, I would like to co-nominate you too. --Hirohisat Kiwi 21:34, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You should try. You have been civil, and have a solid edit count. You have a co. nom as well. JUst give it the college try. We need you as an admin! Politics rule 21:59, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You 100000000% have to be kidding. Who said you don't have the trust of the community? Please, you have to go for adminship or else wikipedia is going to get suckier every moment (no offense, other admins and editors). --Hirohisat Kiwi 22:07, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. But we DO need you to be an admin! Politics rule 22:14, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The page "Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Boricuaeddie2" has been added to your watchlist, which will list edits to this page and its associated talk page.. ArielGold 22:17, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You would rock as an admin, you will have my full support when you do go for it! Love, Neranei (talk) 23:40, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh! Pile-On Do it! :) I trust ya! :) --SQL(Query Me!) 01:03, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you guys for your your support, but, after a day of hard thinking and after talking with Husond via e-mail, I have decided to wait some more before accpeting the nomination. Don't worry; the current team of admins is good enough to keep the 'pedia running for a long, long time before anyone needs me. Again, thank you for your trust. --Boricuæddie 19:58, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Could I have your Email as well. If you say yes on my page, I will give you mine. TJis way, we can talm about these things in private before I nominate you again, or for wikipedia stuff that is private? Thanks! PatPolitics rule! 01:44, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wise decision on a short delay Eddie. We've already got a good candidate at RFA going down because he only waited 5 weeks between applications. Your sentiments are admirable and sensible. I look forward to giving you my support when you go again! Very Best mate. Pedro |  Chat  14:56, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feeder (band)

Hi!, I have now addressed the points you made in this article's talk page. I am going to delete the two images you reffered to in the analysis, and have now deleted it with a fair use rationale of the album cover for the era in question. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Marcus Bowen (talkcontribs) 13:13, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!!, thanks for the passing of GA status!!!. If I was to promote the article to FA status, how would I go about this please? :). Thanks again!.Marcus Bowen 20:59, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot! :D, I'll give that a try! :). How do I get the GA template to link to the latest version?. It currently comes up with the message "May look different from the current version"Marcus Bowen 21:29, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ah!, it should be okay then :). I just aded an extra award on the "Awards" list, but I don't think it's relevant :)Marcus Bowen 21:33, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your second RfA

Hello Boricuaeddie, I just stumbled across your second RfA. Mind if I make a suggestion? Wait for another two or three weeks before accepting. Your last RfA was about a month ago, and you participate at RfA enough to know that some people oppose because of short times between RfAs. You don't have to have the current nomination page deleted; just accept it in two or three weeks time. The choice is yours to make, however, but it's just some advice to avoid having your second RfA not pass. Acalamari 17:44, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome for the advice; you don't really want opposition such as "last RfA was a month ago". Give it two or three weeks, then answer the questions, accept, and submit it. You can accept at anytime, so there is no limit on how how long you can wait to accepting an RfA nomination. As for new admins...there's always be a need for them. :) Acalamari 20:35, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with this. For sure. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (tαlk) 23:16, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This edit almost makes me think you're talking to yourself. There was no incivility at all in my comment, and as I don't really give a fuck I wouldn't have any reason to lose my cool. It might be best for you to take a step back and look over my comments again and see what really offended you in them --lucid 21:07, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, whatever you say. Time to move on (for both of us); just remember to at least try to fix the articles. --Boricuæddie 21:10, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conf)Oh, and I don't really want to hear what you think of what I just said. I just want you to think about it. If you disagree with it, that's your choice, if it makes you think I hope it helps. I'm not doing it to antagonize you, bug you, or anything else, I just want you to think about what you're saying here. --lucid 21:11, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DYK

Updated DYK query Did you know? was updated. On 4 September, 2007, a fact from the article Olga D. González-Sanabria, which you recently nominated, was featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

File:Hersfold.JPG Thanks...
Thank you for showing your support for me in my recent RfA. Unfortunately, I was unable to earn the required consensus and did not succeed. I do hope to put in another request in a few months, once I have improved upon the concerns addressed by the rest of the participants. Your expressed trust in me will definitely help me reach that goal. Thank you again, and happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:23, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: 25 DYK

Eddie, thank you for the 25 DYK Medal. You know it was a real surprise, I didn't know that there was one. As a matter of fact I didn't know that Wikipedia had a DYK Medal and GA Medal, until I was awarded one. It is always nice to receive a surprise. Que Dios Te Bendiga. Color template

Hey, Eddie, I had to remove your recent change at Template:Color, because I couldn't locate the problem. Any text, including sigs, enter after using the template was getting chopped. Not sure how to fix it, so I reverted. You can see the problems at WP:FAR, where I often use the color template (not there now, since I reverted). Green tickY Done [2]. I was not able to get the rounded corners to the grey outline, I think it has to do with the template's code, but I personally don't think it is that noticeable. I hope you like it. ArielGold 00:43, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The little arrows on the right. I checked it in both Firefox, and IE, and it works fine with both. See the little arrows on the right? Click that, lol. It is "down" arrow when hidden, and "up" arrow when expanded. That's the template, not me, so if you hate it there's not much I can do about it lol. RE:Copyright status of Decisional analysis of complex systems

Thanks for your help: I don't know the name of the administrators who deleted my article after debate and consensus and what is the reason why my article was deleted. First, I wrote a previous article under the name of "decision engineering" and the vocabulary and grammar need to be improved. Some adminatrators invited me to do it. I made some corrections and re-writings, but it was not enough and without any help from anyone english or american trough English Wikipedia, the article was cancelled again by Wikipedia administrators in June 2007. Convinced that my suject is fair, I created in september 2007 an article on English Wikipedia with the permission of the author under the original title of the method "Decisional Analysis of complex systems". I mentioned sources and references, as this method is recognized by the top universities (HEC) and Research center CNRS) in France. Nay way the article was deleted without explanation. So I am not sure the reason of this deleting process regarding my subject is either vocabulary, or grammar, either a copyright question. Now vocabulary and grammar are perfect and if I can prove I have the permission of the author, I can do it. First I want to know the name of one of the administrators in charge of the deleting process in order to communicate. If I know why English wikipedia has problem with the subject, the matter of my article, I can understand: may be concepts are not enough classical etc. They have to tell me the exact reason according Wikipedia policy. I ca follow a rule if it is explicit. But if I see wrong reasons are given, it is fair that I request to know the truth. Isn't it your position too ? Robertatum 13.32, 6 september 2007

Request to keep an admin tradition

Eddie, a friend of mine Linuxbeak, once started a nice tradition which I hope that you will keep. Since you nominated User:Caribbean H.Q. for adminship, it will be up to you to present him with the "adminship plaque" which I am posting here, after he is promoted. All you have to do is fill in the blanks. It is a nice tradition. Tony the Marine 05:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
