Dear Jacona Frere

You have been interfering in wiki...and it is clear to me that this is to promote another business who has been caught using the details that you removed, for their own business purposes, and to further their business. The wiki material you removed, is a resource for many persons.
Rack off.

I make lots of mistakes, sorry. If you don't make any mistakes, great! To keep that record intact, it's best not to post here. On the other hand, if you do make mistakes of your own from time to time, please consider how you would like others to respond to your mistakes before posting about mine.

Please add any new topics to the bottom of the page and any comments to existing sections at the bottom of the appropriate section, otherwise they will most likely be ignored. Thanks! Jacona (talk) 18:14, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Balto-Slavic Note

Dear JaconaFrere

1 You certainly are note someone who enjoys scientific or democratic discussion. You silence others and you do not think that you have to explain anything.

2 I would appreciate, if you could take some of your magnificent time and explain to me why you removed the Balto-Slavic Note from Balto-Slavic languages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drozofilos (talkcontribs) 10:06, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! You added a very large section of text without bothering to include a reliable source. If your assertions are verifiable, please add references and re-insert them. If you want to discuss the changes productively, take it to the article talk page. Coming to a user's talk page and posting angry messages dripping with sarcasm will probably not get you the result you are hoping for. You seem to know the subject matter, and if so, you should be able to find plenty of reliable sources. Learn about what is considered reliable, insert them into the article using the templates control box, discuss your changes on the article talk page and you will be able to make great contributions to Wikipedia! If you need further assistance, I will be happy to help, and you can ask questions at the WP:Teahouse. Please wait a bit before reposting your changes to the original page, as your behavior has put you on alert for edit warring. That's OK, you probably don't know about our little traditions like the policy on edit warring, and the WP:BRD cycle. You're a smart person, you'll get the hang of it quickly! Good day and happy editing! Jacona (talk) 12:53, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lakeland_Village_School_(Lake_Elsinore, California) should not be redirected

I reverted you redirection yesterday as I couldn't understand why an article that is 9500 characters long and recounts the history and programs of a local PUBLIC school is being redirected and it own page is eliminated. I don't believe that the page Lakeland_Village_School_(Lake_Elsinore, California) should be redirected a site has a lot of information that local residents would like to know about their local school. District pages are much more general and never as thorough as a local school page in describing programs and history. Please reconsider or direct me to an arbitrating link where this can be taken further.24.43.65.29 (talk) 20:16, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's quite long, but it's just routine coverage. There is no significant claim of notability. WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES is part of an essay (WP:OUTCOMES) that describes how we deal with articles. In the case of schools, high school articles are kept as long as there is sufficient evident to prove the school exists, and primary schools are redirected to an appropriate article, which in the US is normally the school district. If you want more informations, please check out Articles for Deletion (AfD) history on school articles. Also, check out the category Category:Redirects from school articles and you will see a list of over 1700 elementary and middle school articles that have been redirected in this manner (there are more that don't have the category). If you like, we can nominate this article for deletion, in order to get consensus, and therefore formalize the case. Jacona (talk) 23:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your answer. It is sad and makes Wikipedia less a resource for communities and poorer for it. I also feel there is a political bent (to silence public schools) to this policy, but that is for a different venue. Sad to lose a venue to pass on relevant information to those who seek it...It is not like it takes up space or has to be printed...I at one time thought of Wikipedia as that. I guess no longer. I have been an editor for over 10 years (mainly school topics, probably 20,000 edits), but think it is time to put my efforts into areas that are more inclusive. Personally I want a Source for Everything, a repository of global information, a place to go to find out anything I want to know. That can include NON-notable persons, events, and places as well as including all the information that the great resource Wikipedia has. Schools, churches, organizations, large and small, teams...from pee-wee football, upwards,....all missing. Teachers, pastors, coaches...all are notable to their community and friends. I should be able to have a page with my name on it that anyone can go to and find out what I want them to know (controlled, not open edit, I know, I know...FaceBook)...But this should also include POV, which is sorely lacking in Wikipedia. I was there, I saw this (from my viewpoint clearly labeled as such) a repository of eye-witness accounts of every event that ever happens from as many peoples' POV as want to contribute. I saw this accident down the street. This is what I saw, as well as major events... Good bye for now24.43.65.29 (talk) 22:08, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I understand exactly what you mean. Self-published sites as you describe are easily available, and for free. If everyone dealt in good faith, there would be some possibility for the world you imagine to exist, but unfortunately, they do not. To the extent that Wikipedia allows such free-wheeling, it loses any pretense of being an encyclopedia and becomes nothing but a web forum. Human nature quickly would degrade it to the lowest possible level.Jacona (talk) 23:53, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interview for The Signpost

This is being sent to you as a member of WikiProject Discrimination

The WikiProject Report would like to focus on WikiProject Discrimination for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Multiple editors will have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions, so be sure to sign your answers. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Thanks, Rcsprinter123 (jaw) @ 20:50, 17 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

maybe so, but you need a reference or it is {{WP:NOR|original research]], which is not allowed. Jacona (talk) 15:42, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, thanks for your message. I am trying to add a citation but am unsuccessful so far and I think my problems are with the format. I have added a citation to the "Tear down this Wall" entry to support my claims (I was also an eyewitness to the event, but have provided an article from the Tagesspiegel that describes it in more detail on its anniversary as documentation). Do let me know how I can alter my entry to make it successful. best, Robin
