WP:FILMS Questionnaire

As a member of WikiProject Films, you are invited to take part in the project's first questionnaire. It is intended to gauge your participation and views on the project. At the conclusion of the questionnaire, the project's coordinators will use the gathered feedback to find new ways to improve the project and reach out to potential members. The results of the questionnaire will be published in next month's newsletter. If you know of any editors who have edited film articles in the past, please invite them to take part in the questionnaire. Please stop by and take a few minutes to answer the questions so that we can continue to improve our project. Happy editing!

The Last Castle needs your review

I don't know if u know this movie or not but it's a great movie on my standards. I improved it a lot and fixed many issues of it. I'm would be very grateful if u could give it a review on Wikipedia:Peer review/The Last Castle/archive1.

Thanks a lot.--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 14:40, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for your review. I wasn't thinking about GA yet but B-class for now. How do I make it B-class?--Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 16:29, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Hammteam.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Hammteam.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 18:02, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of It Takes Three

I have nominated It Takes Three (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for discussion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. —Snigbrook 22:33, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA review of Schindler's List

Hello, you nominated Schindler's List for GAC. I have have reviewed the article at talk:Schindler's List/GA1, and it's currently on hold -- it has been for four days, in fact. Unless my concerns are adequately satisfied in three days' time, I will have to fail the article. Like I said in the review, a lot of work needs to be done in order for it to fulfill the criteria, but because this film is so important, I was willing to help rather than simply failing it. I hope I won't have to do that. Please get back to me if you need more time. María (habla conmigo) 13:23, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks and a request

Thanks for signing up at Wikipedia:Peer review/volunteers and for your work doing reviews. It is now just over a year since the last peer review was archived with no repsonse after 14 (or more) days, something we all can be proud of. There is a new Peer review user box to track the backlog (peer reviews at least 4 days old with no substantial response), which can be found here. To include it on your user or talk page, please add {{Wikipedia:Peer review/PRbox}} . Thanks again, and keep up the good work, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 03:06, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Harriette.jpg

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Harriette.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:31, 3 March 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ejfetters (talk) 21:31, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:FILMS Coordinator nominations

Film copyediting

I'm trying to keep Minority Report as a GA, and the GAR requested for copyediting - but didn't give examples to cleanup. Can you give me some input on what to rewrite? igordebraga 23:21, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Those plot examples? Already done them. I was asking about the "too many repeated or unnecessary words, or some ambiguity." he mentioned, but didn't want to go further. That could be your work. igordebraga 02:01, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A-Class review

I don't mean to be impolite, but what contributions are you referring to? Your suggested changes proposed during Tranche 2 were not implemented, IIRC, and the current system in place predates your joining the coordinators. (You do have the distinction of being the first to nominate an article for ACR, however.) Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 04:11, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
