== KJCT-LD to KJCT-LP? ==

I know it's not related to the CBS Eye-Removal thing, but I don't understand the [[KJCT-LP|KJCT-LD —> KJCT-LP]] change. Like even though the [[FCC]] recognizes the call sign is KJCT-LP, it's a digital station. I don't really know what the FCC was thinking when they forgot the fact KJCT turned into a digital station and that they would for Low-Power Stations add the '''-LD''' suffix to replace the '''-LP''' suffix. Because by now, ''most'' of them have converted to digital as of 2024. Alt text

Please be careful that, when you update logos that already have alt text written for them, you also update the alt text in lieu of just wiping it out like you did at KTIV. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 05:40, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Affiliates secection

Hello, I need your help, can you help with the affiliates on the Defy TV and The Nest articles. The Defy TV affiliates are halfway done, and I actually was almost done with The Nest affiliates, but I made a massive mistake. You can use the RabbiEars website and Defy TV's and The Nest's website to help you. OWaunTon (talk) 01:47, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to ask @Sammi Brie: or @Nathan Obral:. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:24, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I though so. OWaunTon (talk) 02:25, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@OWaunTon Once you're done, I can clean up the Defy TV list. One thing to think of for the future is sandboxing tables like those, either to experiment or to create without having to edit in real-time on the page itself. There's various ways to do this and none of them would be the "right" or "preferred" way. :) Nathan Obral • he/him • tc • 20:19, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. OWaunTon (talk) 20:28, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

About removing content from Seattle television stations KVOS-TV

I just realized you have removed my edit about how Canada cable company receive KVOS-TV back to October, and that was actually a in-direct reference from a official statement issued by CRTC, the Canadian version of FCC, can you tell me how is it "improper" for me to add those detail as KVOS has been in the Vancouver's Cable system for a long time as a de-facto local station for Vancouver.

Also, from your recent reverting content about Univision is moving it's affiliation from KUNS-TV to KVOS-TV in Seattle, the statement itself was actually issued, in Spanish, from a newscast on KUNS-TV despite it was unoffically uploaded to Youtube, how would it be needed for " a better source" from it as Sinclair had rarely upload their content about Univision Seattle to their website and social media since the "rumous", which was once appeared from Sincalir's official statement, that Sinclair is planning to move CW from KOMO-DT2 to KUNS-TV. 人上人 (talk) 12:42, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New Orleans Pelicans

Seems like the article is still online. Not sure why you reverted. [1]. Esolo5002 (talk) 04:17, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Slow Down with the AfD nominations!

I see you have been nominating several dozen low-power television stations to AfD in the past couple of days. While the ones I have been able to view all appear to be plainly non-notable, I'd suggest reducing your throughput somewhat to allow others to be able to review them thoroughly in case some of them are notable. If not, I may choose to report you to ANI. Let'srun (talk) 17:43, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, I'll start looking at them little by little and give others a chance to look at them. Maybe you can help. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 17:48, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

KXAS-TV

The edit made on the KXAS-TV page regarding the events revolving around the unseen end of the Rams at Lions NFL playoff game was in no way, shape or form "vandalism". Why the removal? 47.184.144.158 (talk) 05:24, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NOTNEWS; WP:NPOV; did not belong in lede Mvcg66b3r (talk) 05:29, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Fine, removed from the lede. Re-added in what was a more appropriate place. Then you removed it from there? Why? 47.184.144.158 (talk) 05:42, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Did not express a neutral point of view; as I said, you might want to talk to @Sammi Brie: and see if she can help. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 05:43, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will edit from a completely neutral point of view then. 47.184.144.158 (talk) 05:46, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's probably undue at any place in that article, to be totally honest. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:00, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why so? I even added a citations needed tag. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 06:02, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You add it correctly, as a "Controversy", then turn around and almost immediately remove it. I do not understand the reasoning whatsoever. Please explain? Thanks. 47.184.144.158 (talk) 06:07, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See Sammi's post above. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 06:08, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accessibility issues

Hello @Mvcg66b3r. Thanks for bringing those accessibility issues on various Florida articles to my attention. I found a nice balance, #FF9100 for backgrounds; and #333333 for text. This passes the WCAG Grading Standard, I used this resource: https://www.whocanuse.com/?bg=ff9100&fg=333333&fs=16&fw=, for reference (found it via Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility). If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. Would rather you do that, then edit anything without consoling for my input first. Much appreciated. Freeholdman12 (talk) 23:34, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Anyways, the color combinations on these templates shouldn't be changed at all, without WP:CONSENSUS. If you need help, just ask my good friend @Sammi Brie:. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 23:44, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi Mvcg66b3r. For future reference, you can use {{Db-g7}} to request that files you have uploaded be deleted instead of going to FfD. Thanks, Fastily 03:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WWTO

re: WWTO and WLPD-CD edits. Sorry, no such linkable citation exists. I have personally tuned and mapped all the channels. This is not the sort of thing that would generally have a citation available. 104.3.217.165 (talk) 05:15, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a national change, I wonder if other TBN stations are affected. I also would suggest you write to RabbitEars to get that listing fixed. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 06:45, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

KBHK

I linked to scanned images of Bay Area TV schedules from the first week of October, 1989. How many other sources do you need? I'm currently working on scanning Mercury News schedules from the '90s and should have the scans uploaded to Archive.org in the next few weeks. 98.234.13.133 (talk) 22:08, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to ask @Sammi Brie: if you need help. Also, your edits could use some work. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 22:11, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there! I looked at what you added, and it doesn't really mesh. A reference to a schedule just isn't enough for inclusion. If the syndicated shows were described in published articles as helping ratings, we'd have a different story. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 22:41, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The correct procedure for dealing with questionably sourced claims is to add a "possibly contains original research" tag at the top of the article or "citation needed" tags after the individual disputed claims, and then give interested readers a few weeks to accumulate sources. Correct procedure is NOT to indiscriminately delete half of the article! 98.234.13.133 (talk) 01:06, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WILX-TV and articles like it

There are certain cases like WILX-TV in which I through-write the news operation and history sections, essentially integrating news into history.

I will do this where...

  • The station had multiple different attempts at news (e.g. KDAF). If the station currently has news, the News operation section should only cover the current incarnation of news.
  • There is insufficient material on the news operation alone, particularly for a small-market station (e.g. KIDY). In some cases, this is because news history may bolster the recent non-news history, which otherwise would be insubstantial.
  • There is a very strong correlation between changes in station history and news department changes (e.g. WYOU, WLFL). WILX falls in this category. An article may be considered for this if I feel like I would be saying the same historical facts twice.
  • There is some other good reason to vary the structure of the article (e.g. the level-2 headers of WWJ-TV reflect the WGPR/WWJ time divide).
