Can you help?!?

I am in constant need of photos for various articles I am working on, and I am in dire need of the following photos from around the globe. So I turn to the community in the hope that someone out there is able to take the photos that I require.

If you can help with photos of any of these subjects, please upload them to Commons, and then post a short message with a link to the photos on my English Wikipedia talk page.

In the event you don't have a Commons log-in, you can email them to me at russavia.wikipedia@gmail.com and advise which licence you would like to licence them under, and I can do the uploading, categorisation, etc.

I have provided as much detail on what I require, including addresses, links to online maps, and photos of the subject that I am unable to upload to Commons, in order for photographers to identify the subject I require.

Fulfilled a picture request to Japanese Wikipedia

Hello, I am SAYEKI Nazuna (禁樹なずな) from Japanese Wikipedia.

In 2009, you requested picture of Φ-Building (FAI-BIRU), 1-20-5, SASAGUCHI, Niigata, Japan. Then, I have taken a picture of the building. [1]

But it was too late, because the embassy of the Russian Federation had been moved from Φ-Building to Toki Messe. You probably do not need that picture anymore...--禁樹なずな (talk) 01:06, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your interest in this matter. Regarding my accusation against Greyhood, he said "I see no point in giving detailed edit summary for every small addition or removal". I was complaining about a 12,000 bit change - a huge edit. He has a habit of ignoring complaints against him by not even referring to the matter mentioned - and he basically did it again there. That he pretended he only made small edits when not giving summaries was an untruth. So, for the good of all he had to be called on it :) His behaviour has annoyed at least half a dozen other editors on two or three Russian-themed pages, and despite my complaint about his adding insufficient edit summaries, he's still at it as you can see (things such as "add" are not sufficient summaries, and are disrespectful to other editors, making them work harder trying to keep up with his comments). Either way, he's no angel but if he stops creating problems others will not insult him. It's that simple. Malick78 (talk) 19:58, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. You added yourself to this page (which is currently up for MFD) with this edit[2]. I shouldn't have to ask this, but for process' sake: that was a joke, wasn't it? I assume a real member of the 'web brigades' would not identify themselves so easily... well anyway, your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia is appreciated, but this was the wrong place to do it. That page is an important list, which makes serious claims about real people, and should be taken seriously; readers will assume everyone on that list is an identified paid editor, and some of them may miss your satire and assume your statement was genuine. In order to avoid such potential unpleasantness, could you please remove your name from the list? Robofish (talk) 14:09, 7 March 2012 (UTC)If, on the other hand, you genuinely are a member of the FSB: my apologies, comrade! And congratulations on Mr. Putin's re-election! A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
for simply being one of the best and most productive editors I know. You are always a voice of reason in the discussions, and I especially admire your fine and rare perception for NPOV and BLP violations. Nanobear (talk) 00:35, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Nanobear, I just came to my talk page after being alerted by my trollometer there was action here, and I just saw that you trolled my talk page 3 days ago -- I missed it mate, thanks for that. Russavia ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) 04:53, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let's make this an opportunity to unhate!

The Fæ classy in crisis LGBT ally Barnstar!
Recently there was some anti-gay hate here on wikipedia and you worked to unhate. Because we need to show our overwhelming support of what people hate on to create unhate whenever it shows up. I compel everyone that supports unhate to repost this on their user page or talk page and especially on any page that has been the location of LGBT harassment or ignorance, that way the haters will know the only consequence of their hate will be more gayness and education and community. Congratulations on being an unhater! LuciferWildCat (talk) 23:33, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Polandball can not into Wikipedia?

Given that you're held up as a shining example by the LGBT community as regards hate speech in that venue....don't you think your current userpage might be a tad problematic. I mean, it's funny, but it's the kind of humour that you can only use against yourself - and as far as I know you're not Polish. If you replaced "Poland" with "Gay", I imagine Luciferwildcat would be taking his barnstar back. Just a thought. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 13:09, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message and thanks for noticing my userpage. I didn't know it was being watched by others so closely. ;) Anyway Elen, the userpage is an example of User:Russavia/Polandball, which I am currently writing up in order to have it placed (hopefully) on the front page of WP on 1 April. It is an user-generated internet meme which pokes fun at not only Polandball, but Russiaball, Finlandball, Brazilball, Americaball, Germanyball, Estoniaball, Monacoball, St Kitts and Nevisball, etc, etc, by taking national and ethnical stereotypes, and international relations, etc, and puts things in a humourous light. I didn't mention Latviaball above, because no-one knows who Latviaball is. Joking! Of course we know Latviaball. You don't have to be a Polandballer to take the piss out of Polandball -- you seem to be suggesting that Polandball doesn't have a sense of humour? Just remember, not everything is as it seems. And often humour can come around full circle. Of course, hater's gonna hate, but don't take them too seriously - they don't. As to replacing "Poland" with "gay", I'm not quite sure queerball would agree. Just sayin! Bottoms up! Russavia ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) 14:56, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
