Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Josh Brolin, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Deleted comment

Hi Smokeyfire,

I see you recently deleted a comment I left on your Talk page with regards to the Skyfall teaser trailer. Please be aware that some Wikipedians consider it very bad etiqutte to wipe these messages from your talk page without informing the person who posted it. Especially when you do nothing to acknowledge the original message. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 05:47, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Archiving

Whilst help is appreciated. Could you please STOP archiving, as you're doing it wrong and creating extra work for people who are having to tidy up after you. As well as moving talk pages to the wrong place. -Please read the instructions on page archiving and the correct place to put archives. - X201 (talk) 14:07, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies my parents just suggested I should look to going to bed not entirely awake I am sorry. --Smokeyfire (talk) 14:11, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Smokeyfire.[reply]

No problem. We all make mistakes. Just so the you know what was wrong; You should only archive the discussions, not the templates at the top of the page. And the discussion page should be a subpage of the talk page, not a different name. I remember how daunting it was the first time I archived a talk page. - X201 (talk) 14:45, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Chris Cornell shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Please talk on the page or you will certainly be blocked. Two kinds of pork (talk) 03:11, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 16

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sheryl Crow, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Raymond Burke (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Born to Choose may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • [[Category:Alternative rock compilation albums]]]]

Citing sources

Just a heads up: You do NOT cite online sources by putting URLs in double square brackets (besides, for links that lead outside of Wikipedia, you only need single square brackets). In the future, please use this template for citing sources. Thanks, TheStickMan[✆Talk] 17:40, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
