- As with all 19th-century MLB players, Blogg has an entry in The Rank and File by David Nemec; his entry is actually pretty extensive compared to some of the others and almost certainly counts as significant coverage. MLB.com hosts a "blog post about the only MLB player named Blogg", pretty brief though; there's also brief newspaper articles I located about incidents he was involved in while umpiring, see Cincinnati Enquirer and Philadelphia Inquirer. - Keep - the SIGCOV from Nemec's book and the Cincinnati Enquirer article means Bloggs meets GNG. There's also a bit about him in this, though I wouldn't rely on it to establish notability. Hatman31 (talk) 02:19, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Keep. There is enough out there to establish notability and these 19th century players need to be given a bit more leeway. Spanneraol (talk) 02:21, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Keep Here's a mention of him in the Virginian Pilot in 1962 – Muboshgu (talk) 04:10, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Keep per GNG. Rlendog (talk) 14:23, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

- Keep: Based on his book entry and the other sources mentioned above. Oaktree b (talk) 17:04, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
