Wikipedia:Stress alerts
Instructions
If you notice that a Wikipedia user is showing signs of stress, taking a wikibreak, or considering leaving the project altogether, please add the user to the appropriate list below so that the Esperanza community can intervene with encouraging comments and suggestions. You are welcome to add your own username to any of the lists if you wish to receive support from the community. Or if someone else has added your user name to the list and you wish to be left alone, you may remove yourself from the list.
Each entry should remain on this page until the issue is resolved or for approximately one month. "Leaving Wikipedia" alerts that do not succeed in encouraging prominent users to stay with the project should be archived to the list of missing Wikipedians.
Stressbusters has some suggestions for actions you might take in response to these alerts.

Stressed Users
User:Rschen7754 | RFC that is suffering from biased users and going south. | 19:30, 1 April 2006 (UTC) |
User_talk:Colignatus | User in trouble | 07:09, 3 April 2006 (UTC) |
User_talk:Go for it! | I feel persecuted! Instead of simply giving up in frustration, I've decided to stick around and fight back (within the acceptable means provided by Wikipedia). I'm in need of the advice of a veteran user on something I've been working on for quite some time. I undertook a complete overhaul of the Community Portal, on an open editable page, only to have someone revert it to a version of the page that existed months ago. Then along comes an admin and protects the page. Not knowing what all my options were, I called for a vote to get the page changed back. I didn't get any positive feedback until I posted that announcement - up until then I felt like I was continually being yelled at and scolded. My talk page reads like a punching bag. My question is: is there anything we can do to change the process bias of the talk page system which seems to promote criticisms and complaints over praise and encouragement??? --Go for it! | 19:43, 3 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:The Minister of War | My deadline for my MA thesis is nearing! Still a few weeks to go and pressure mounting!!! Thinking of taking an extended wikibreak to kick the habit here. | 06:02, 12 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:HighwayCello | Too many people screaming at me and I feel like leaving because a stupid FAC... Highway Rainbow Sneakers | 16:36, 10 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:Guanaco | Recent crippling of vandal-fighting ability. | 04:48, 12 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:D-Day | As if the userbox wars aren't enough, having to deal with edit disputes on Keith Olbermann. That's going to get so ugly. I can tell. | D-Day(Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?) 17:49, 17 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:Golbez | Burnout. Adminitis. Burnout. Too much vandalfighting, not enough contentmaking. Burnout. | 14:54, 20 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:Thewolfstar | Reason:I'm new in Wiki. I've been harassed a lot and taken a lot of abuse. I've come back in an angry way myself at times, and don't like being like that. I feel down and angry because of all the fights and wars that have occurred because of my editing attempts. I need some kindness and support. thanks for being here. | 21:58, 20 April 2006 |
User:Anonymous_anonymous | I'm ill and tired at the moment. | 11:28, 21 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:NSLE | Trying to help a friend and getting shot down by a fellow Esperanzian. This is ridiculous, and un-Esperanzial. | 04:41, 22 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:Mailer Diablo | Poor health, compounded by pressure-cooking stress in academics as a result of poor grades, with further boo-boos in real life making things worse. | 07:47, 22 April 2006 (UTC) |
User:HolyRomanEmperor | Involved in a contentious RFA, and thinking about leaving Wikipedia altogether. | 21:19, 24 April 2006 (UTC) |
