Projects

  1. Reduce number of clubs stubs (see Category:English football club stubs) There are currently around 650-700 570. If all participants aimed to make one club article per day non-stub, then it would not take long. Things a club page should have to be made non-stub:
    See Chippenham Town F.C. for an example of a article with the minimum for non-stub statusTompw (talk) 13:21, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    Letter of month: K There are just seven club stubs starting with the letter K: Kelvedon Hatch F.C. - Keynsham Town F.C. - Kidsgrove Athletic F.C. - Kimberley Town F.C. - Kirby Muxloe SC - Kirkley F.C. - Kiveton Park F.C.
  2. Expand league articles. Most of the articles for leagues at level 10 or below are little more than stubs. Any league article should include:
    • {{Infobox football league}}
    • Geographic area covered
    • Current number of divisions / teams.
    • Recent champions, if not all.
    • League template (for all divisions), plus promotion/relegation info
    • External link

Tasks

  1. ?

Adopt an article

Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
