Ōzeki Station (大関駅, Ōzeki-eki) is an Echizen Railway Mikuni Awara Line railway station located in Sakai, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.

Station

All Mikuni Awara Line trains serve Ōzeki Station. There are two tracks serving a single island platform, and the station is unstaffed. A piece of public art doubles as a roofed walkway between the station and a nearby parking lot.

  • The station is surrounded by residences and fields. Fukui Prefectural Route 154 lies to the south.

History

  • December 30, 1928: Station opens.
  • September 1, 1942: Keifuku Electric Railway merges with Mikuni Awara Electric Railway.
  • June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
  • August 10, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
