The 1993 Coney Island Ice Cream Stars season was the 6th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). became known as Purefoods Oodles Flavor Noodles in the Commissioners Cup, and revert to Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdogs in the Governors Cup.

Championship (Finals stint)[edit]

Coney Island Ice Cream Stars, formerly the Purefoods TJ Hotdogs, wins the All-Filipino Cup trophy by defeating the powerhouse San Miguel Beermen, 4 games to 2 in the best-of-seven series, new coach Chot Reyes became the first rookie coach to steer his team to a title, it was the first victory by the Purefoods franchise over the Beermen in the finals series.

Purefoods Oodles lost their bid to win a second straight championship in the season when they bowed to Swift Mighty Meaties in six games for the Commissioner's Cup title.

Awards[edit]

Alvin Patrimonio bag his second Most Valuable Player (MVP) trophy in three years. teammate Jerry Codinera made it to the Mythical five first team selection, Codinera along with Glen Capacio were named in the All-defensive team in the year-end awards.
