Tennis tournament
The 2006 Forest Hills Tennis Classic was a women's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 3rd edition of the Forest Hills Tennis Classic, and was part of the Tier IV Series of the 2006 WTA Tour. It took place in Forest Hills, New York City, New York, United States from August 22 through August 26, 2006. Meghann Shaughnessy won the singles title.
