2019 AFC Asian Cup Group D
Group D of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup will take place from 7 to 16 January 2019.[1] The group consists of Iran, Iraq, Vietnam, and Yemen.[2] The top two teams, possibly along with the third-place team (if they are ranked as one of the best four), will advance to the round of 16.[3]
The group contains two former champions, Iran (3 times) and Iraq (1 time – 2007). Yemen will make its debut in the tournament.

In the round of 16:
- The winners of Group D will advance to play the third-placed team of Group B, Group E, or Group F.
- The runners-up of Group D will advance to play the winners of Group E.
- The third-placed team of Group D might advance to play the winners of Group A or Group B.
