Gilles Simon was the defending champion, but lost to Kevin Anderson in the semifinals.

Anderson went on to win the title, 7–6(7–4), 6–7(2–7), 7–6(7–5), against Ivo Karlović. Anderson did not face a single break point and Karlovic saves 8 out of 8 break points against him. The match finished with each player having won equal number of a points (111).
