Lucie Hradecká and Ekaterina Makarova were the defending champions,[1] but Makarova could not participate this year due to injury. Hradecká plays alongside Andreja Klepač.

Barbora Strýcová and Kristina Mladenovic are in contention for the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking. Mladenovic must win the title in order to have a chance at regaining the top ranking from Strýcová.
