The 2021 Orange Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 31, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.[3] The Orange Bowl will be one of two College Football Playoff semifinal games, with the winner advancing to the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship. It will be the 88th edition of the Orange Bowl, and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. Sponsored by bank holding company Capital One, the game will be officially known as the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl.
Teams
This will mark the third meeting between the programs; they last met in 1965 in a game won by Georgia, 15–7.[4]
