Paula Badosa won the title.

Paula Badosa defeated Marie Bouzková in the final, 6–1, 4–6, 6–4 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2024 Washington Open.[1] It was her fourth career WTA Tour title, and her first since January 2022. Badosa was the second wildcard to win the tournament, after Nadia Petrova in 2011.

Coco Gauff was the reigning champion, but chose to compete in the Olympic Games instead.[2][3]
