Akmeniai ('stony places', formerly Russian: Окмяны, Template:Lang-pl)[1] is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 9 people.[2] It is located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from Beinaičiai, next to the Vilnius-Šiauliai railway and the Raistas Forest.

History

During the Soviet era, a part of the village was split and transferred to Jonava District Municipality (Akmeniai, Jonava).
