Amber Rose Revah (born 24 June 1986) is an English actress. She is best known for playing the roles of Hala Hussein, Saddam's daughter, in the BBC/HBO series House of Saddam and Mary Magdalene in The Bible series and Son of God. Later she appeared in From Paris With Love (2010) and Aazaan (2011).[1] She played the role of Dinah Madani in the Netflix original series The Punisher (2019).

Early life

Revah's mother is from a Polish-Jewish family, and Revah's father is of Kenyan-Asian Indian ancestry.[citation needed] Her maternal grandparents were forced out of Kraków during World War II, before eventually living in the United Kingdom, where her grandfather created a shipping business. She has a sister who works at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and a brother who lives in Switzerland and works as a ski instructor.[2]

Revah got her start in acting as a 17-year-old while still at Brunel University studying Contemporary Performance,[3] when she joined a RADA youth group and got an agent. In 2011, Revah starred in Everywhere and Nowhere where she met her future fiancé and fellow actor Neet Mohan.[4] In 2013, she played Vidya Khan, a young Pakistani girl, in the short murder mystery BBC series What Remains alongside David Threlfall and Russell Tovey.[5]
