Sarbak (Persian: ساربوک, also Romanized as Sārbak; also known as Sabū, Sar Bug, Sārbūg, and Sārbūk)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Sarbuk District of Qasr-e Qand County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,184 in 428 households, when it was in the former Qasr-e Qand District of Nik Shahr County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,506 people in 587 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,448 people in 631 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county and became a part of the newly established Qasr-e Qand County.[4] It was the largest village in Sarbuk Rural District.[2]

After the census, the village of Sarbak was elevated to the status of a city.[7]
