The Central District of Fahraj County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان فهرج) is in Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Fahraj.

At the National Census in 2006, its population (as the former Fahraj District of Bam County) was 23,442 in 5,409 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 39,871 people in 10,722 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fahraj County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 39,820 inhabitants in 10,451 households.[2]
