Naseri (Persian: ناصری, also Romanized as Nāserī)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Naseri Rural District of Khanafereh District, Shadegan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,426 in 226 households, when it was in the former Khanafereh Rural District of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,843 people in 415 households, by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of the new Khanafereh District.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,606 people in 417 households.[2]
