The Juventus FC–AC Milan rivalry is a football derby between Juventus and Milan. Both teams rank among the most successful clubs in the country's football history and often compete for all major domestic honours.[1] It is the oldest running and most played Italian derby, having been played since 1901.
The derby is often compared to Derby d'Italia, the derby between Juventus and Inter Milan; the two derbies collectively are considered one of the facets of the wider and older socioeconomic and historical regional rivalry between cities of Milan and Turin.
